if that works, it means some other plugin might be taking over the help command. you can try going in commands.yml (this is in the main folder where you server.jar is) and adding this: yml aliases: help: - "deluxemenus:help $1-"
then restarting the server

Basically, Im running a command whitelist plugin to tidy everything up
So it blocks every command and stops tab complete on any command i dont put in the list
but it only works if the command is 'registered' and it would appear dm doesnt want to register the help command using register:true
im thinking because help is a built in bukkit command?
kinda. But that will basically tell spigot to make the /help command be an alias for /deluxemenus:help which means no other plugins can take over it anymore
if /deluxemenus:help works, its 100% registered

if you try /deluxemenus:OTHER (replace other with any other deluxemenus menu command that's not registered), you'll see it won't work

but when I enter that same thing as a tag with deluxetags, it comes out like this:

Hi all! I can't figure out why the priorities have stopped working. Are they limited to 1 menu?
I do a menu with quests, and I have 3 priorities for each item:
1 blocked (need to complete a past quest)
2 unlocked and can be done
3 completed
The problem is that my first layer does not work, that is, the quests are all visible, but instead there should be an item describing that you need to do the past quest
I always copied each quest to create a new one as a template, now did the same thing and I did everything right, that is, everything has its own name and no one is the same

maybe what they were doing was sending a message in chat which you could then click to get the suggestion

this all happened after running /spawn
Ok so at spawn most likely you have a hologram made with DecentHolograms, and in this hologram you have a ParseOther placeholder. Now you're using a player's name that is not online and the mojang servers might be down so spigot tries to get the OfflinePlayer from mojang but since the servers are offline and spigot is stupid and never stops, it just ends up blocking the main thread. (paper has an alternative for this but plugins would have to directly implement it which means plugins will break on spigot if not implemented correctly).
long story short: mojang servers down, spigot tries to access and blocks main thread
you need the rgb option as well I'm pretty sure.
spawn doesn't have a parseother placeholder but the world I was on does, and the player data didn't register so ig
on newer server versions you can enable that either from server.properties or its a gamerule. I don't remember exactly.

a report menu,
he has multiple slots, the first button, asks for the user who you want to report,
the second one asks for the contents/ reason for the report
and the send button, Combines both of those, and runs a /discordsrv command to send the contents of that information to a discord channel
