What's the difference between TAB & Featherboard / is featherboard worth purchasing?
I've been using TAB for 2 years now, and had no issues with it.
TAB has a lot more features than just scoreboards
I'd say TAB is the best plugin for scoreboards and tab
based on a quick look at the features listed on the main page, TAB has all of them aside from images with resources packs, which can easily be replaced by using another plugin like Nexo or ItemsAdder, allowing you to not only have them in scoreboards but everywhere you want, including TAB using their PAPI placeholders (and have more features like custom items and not just images as well)
and TAB doesn't depend on ProtocolLib

unless you specifically added an open_requirement checking for one

DeluxeMenus is really awesome because you can add specific permissions for specific conditions, for example you can add a permission for viewing items, opening GUIs, clicking items, and more!

Hello, is possible to make rewards without setting additional permisions ? Like time rewards, 1st phase is reward show material, 2nd phase if its ready to collect and 3rd phase if its already taken by player, i work on permision time.1 give on left click at phase 2 and disabling left click if player have this permision but on restarting players progress is not funny to take off 100 permision for all the player

the value of %deluxemenus-meta% can be changed by click_commands and basically when [refresh] is triggered it will switch back to default item, the speed of [refresh] will maybe depends on update_interval: or something else

also, the /rewards is a command that you have on another menu?
you will need to add register_command: true and then restart your server for the command to get registered and show up when u do /
in other case instead of doing [player] rewards] you can also do [openguimenu] <menu_id> without the <> to open that specific menu
but the /rewards menu is a menu from the dailyrewards plugin itself, does that work too?
and how to get the ID of that
I deleted the permissions part from all items but it didn't seem to fix my issue
even putting an alias to that command and using that or using /execute as @s run rewards doesn't work in the menu but both work if you use them yourself in chat (the execute one for ops only offcorse)

So that's an error from PlaceholderAPI expansion called Player. The menu should continue working
some of them dont work tho
From what I can tell, the version of the Player expansions you are using doesn't support your server version.
i suggest checking the placeholder is correct for your version as they change sometimes

Did you have bossbars before? If not, they probably just added new warnings letting you know that you haven't configured some values.

Hmm. That might be the case. Its possible that TAB does not have a configuration migration process so you would have to do that manually. I don't have a lot of knowledge with TAB but I know @spark sage has. Maybe he can help when he's around.

it's not a matter of conversion, it's a matter of configuration settings missing from the config. The warnings were only added in recent releases
Not adding those settings doesn't break TAB though, those are just harmless warnings. You can see it in the warns themselves that they use default values when missing

No, you can not pass arguments when using /dm open. That command was never meant for opening menus for players but more for testing. You can use arguments in the [openmenu] action and in the commands that you've set in open_command.
There is no specific feature meant exactly for this, but you can probably try open_requirement to do something like that

I have several npc's which join a certain group. But i want to use the same menu. So i need to specifiy a string somehow in the npc. Which is fine because i can just use the [player] join <group> i guess

In DeluxeMenus? Not at the moment, though it has been/still is being discussed, especially now that Paper's started to branch off of Spigot. I'm guessing the plan is to maintain Spigot support for at leats 1 or 2 version (or at least until tye next DeluxeMenus release) and then fully use Paper's API with Adventure Components, at least I hope 🥲

Hi, I’m trying to configure an item in my menu using and I want to make it completely inaccessible to players. Specifically, I want the item to appear as part of the menu without any interaction or visibility. I don’t want players to be able to hover over it, see its name, or have any other information displayed when they move their cursor over it. The item should be completely non-interactive and invisible in terms of its details. How can I achieve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Currently in my scoreboard (Using TAB) I have a luckperm permission that allows me to target whether the player can vote or not except that if he is in cooldown it displays him in the scoreboard except that if he is not in cooldown it displays nothing in the scoreboard anyone have an idea how I can do to set a default value on the permission so that it displays for example “&aAvailable” if he is not in cooldown so if he does not have the perm.

Ive been reading 17 other results surrounding this issue that comes default with this plugin. Many other people have raised the issue of the default advancedmenu not working as it should. This is out of the box problem. When you start this plugin and poke around trying to learn it you find that having the deluxemenus.shopexample is not enough to interact with the advancedmenu option that you would expect to work if you gave yourself said permission. Why has this issue gone on for so long with no proper answer? Is this just a mistake in the config provided with the plugin upon installation? or is this a bug in the plugin that needs addressing? Ill provide screenshots to show and I will reiterate that this is fresh out of the box, no changes have been made to the files from DeluxeMenus during this test.

what if you add priority: 2 to the No Permission item?

Was using this placeholder forever and it worked great, I recently switched the model to a stringblock. So its no longer using custom model data, instead using customvariation. Its also paper instead of horse armor.
Attempted to update the placeholder myself, had a hard time finding this part on the wiki- this is where im at

Heya all, how would I set a certain string to appear in a lore line based upon the current value of a placeholder with Deluxe Menus? For instance, I have an item in a menu that displays detailed information about a player and it uses placeholders. What I would like to do is if a placeholder value equals a certain amount, I would like to display additional text next to it.
