TikTok Live Access Issue - Need Help

I'm having trouble getting TikTok Live access through Restream. Here's the situation:

  • Background: Got manual TikTok Live access 6 months ago, streamed briefly, then stopped. Now want to stream again using Restream.

  • Current Problem: Restream shows "Streaming not allowed - apply" for TikTok. When I click to apply:

  • First attempt: Got "access expired, apply again" → clicked button → auto-rejected (no form to fill)

  • Next 2 attempts: Also rejected with same message

  • Error Message: "The link you provided couldn't be accessed or does not verify your streaming history on a mainstream platform."

  • What's Missing: The application never asks for streaming info, follower count, etc. I have 2k Twitch followers and previously (6m ago) submitted a screenshot of my stream dashboard as verification. My Twitch account details should still be the same.

  • Issue: Can't access the actual application form at the TikTok URL - it only lets my click the reapply button and it just gets rejected eventually.

Has anyone encountered this before or know how to get past the auto-rejection to actually fill out the application?

Hey @pallid merlin, thanks for reaching out! This issue can happen when TikTok’s access form auto-rejects your application before you’re able to fill in any details. Their system runs an automatic check on the link you provide, and if it doesn’t detect recent or public streaming activity, it may reject the application immediately.

Just to clarify: TikTok fully manages the review and approval process for Live access. Restream doesn’t have access to their criteria or decision-making.

Here are a few things you can try:

  • Submit a direct link to a recent public Twitch VOD or YouTube Live replay that clearly shows full stream activity (not just clips or highlights).

  • Make sure your stream is publicly accessible, with video and audio enabled.

  • If you haven’t streamed recently, consider going live again on Twitch or YouTube before reapplying.

If you've tried multiple times, waiting 14 days before retrying can sometimes help. This is the limitation they place on accounts with revoked streaming access so creators don't get their accounts flagged for repeatedly applying.

If you’re still running into the same issue, reaching out to TikTok support with your stream link and a short explanation of the issue may help get things manually reviewed.

That's odd because I already provided the link 6 months ago when I originally got approved. Since my live access expired, I assumed I'd be able to fill out the form again, but it won't even let me get to that step.

My Twitch account is the same and I've been streaming daily for the past 2 months. My VODs are set to private, but I have plenty of public clips available. The stream is publicly accessible with both video and audio enabled.

I know this is probably something I need to contact TikTok support about, but I feel like they'll just send a generic copy-paste response that won't actually help. Was hoping someone here might have run into this before and found an easy workaround.

Has anyone dealt with expired access trying to reapply through Restream specifically?
