I'm considering replacing tiger prawn with a triangular pile of poop to make it look more appealing. Does anybody have experience changing the 3d model files? I used to do it on first client but those were easy 2d graphics.

It looks like a space-tick. I wonder if it gives it's victims allergies to meat.
It should only require finding the file and changing names to what you want to swap to. But some layers/sprites won't carry over or apply correctly.
Iirc that's all I used to do to swap the graphics in early c2.

The reason I play a spaceship game and not fifa or chess or candy crush is because I appreciate the appearance of the ships, because there is a feeling that comes with controlling a vehicle that travels and shoots. I dont think its cute that the endgame berserker ship is a shrimp. I dont think its productive or cute to sabotage the game by making endgame material appear pathetic.

In terms of functional value, this is not even a problem, this is an artistic blunder. I am sure there's plenty of functional issues.
I havent run into them yet standby for more whining.
