Obviously there is something peculiar with this. I would suggest suspending Emperor Contest (not that any but srx are making an effort at sitting at planets for hours on end waiting for the influence to tally). This IS NOT how the game was intended to be played (no matter this is a bad implementation of the "height" of pvp content for ss). My 2 cents

any other game that people pay for would rectify this immediately or suspend that particular content until the issue was resolved. clown emojis do not help in a serious conversation about the sad state of affairs that is emp contest. This is just another anomaly of failure.

We are working to resolve the issue with the strat spawn placement. However we do not deem it enough of an issue to disrupt the contest. The contest will continue with nothing else done.

This sort of apathy towards the emp contest each uni is a contributing factor why my team isn't participating. This is not what is supposed to happen even during a normal dull and boring sit at a planet snooze fest in a regular emp contest. You remember when for whatever reason there were multiple emp contests in one uni? All that did was allow one team to farm a pretty dang large amount of seals when it wasn't warranted. This is more of the same but for an even larger cluster of skill to attain in imp 6-7.

This is not right. This is just one team gaming the system to receive more than what is allowable by the rules of the contest.

That isnt a developer explained boss mechanic.

This has always happened since these bosses were first added.

It doesn't happen every spawn, but it could easily happen if the conditions are right. If a player knows the exact cause they may tell you.

so we're going with business as usual? c'mon fellas. this is just the latest in a long long string of mishaps that get exploited to the gills. emp contest should have been shut down when it was found out multiple strats were spawned in the same location at once. all you're doing is allowing this to be abused when this wasn't in any way shape or form what you, as the developers, envisioned when you set up this hot mess of an emperor system. we already had the 3-4 emps in one uni abuse of seals and now we're experiencing the same with signets.
