With the amount of powercreep curently coming from not only Matriarch and GEE but also Gonz+Angre and Scarra+Carmine some classes that have it easier to keep up feel as they are shooting ahead in pure power over classes that arent realy viable or struggle with the content, is this something on that has been brought up or is considerd from a balancing perspective?

Some examples would be Engineer struggleing to do either GEE, matri, scarra or carmine.
FC just being a mobile statstick booster for GEE/Matri and more or less completely barred from scarra/carmine.
Recon focus classes struggleing to achive a shield amount to survive a single shot from carmine on a viable setup.

Engineer and FC are pending rebalance. Not all classes are the same. Not all classes can excel at the same content.

putting a small squad limit on bosses prevents all but the most meta classes and builds from participating in content

It is considered and something we are commiting to working on.

Unfortunately, the nature of FC and Engi require serious thought and general work to allow them to have the type of power scaling that the other classes can have. We are still doing that work.

not putting deathblossom in every single bit of content would be a good start, or if it stays removing drones / fighters from taking splash/being targeted would be a minimal step every single game opts to use

Those are gameplay features that almost exclusively effect those classes in content. I realize it's supposed to be a way to spread damage against squads but it is pretty potent. One of the things I'd hoped when the last adv skills balance happened was more of the engi power focused on the class skills letting us choose the resilience skill.

another problem, GEE for example, anyone near a drone? Deathblossom turns on, drones too close? Deathblossom turns on, things like that really bad design.

having to place my healing drones 2k+ range away from people is a meme because it means i am flying around just deploying drones for the first 30-50s~ of it

i fully understand the idea every class is different and should be good at different things. i do think that matri especially tho is kind of to strong of a thing ;P. having a solo on lock every week vs not ramps you up in power and wealth so fast. that other ways or content just feels like its lacking. gl getting a desist or LAAA on a class that struggles with matri sord of. and now add NF ontop of that and its a bit of an issue i think

part of that is also that NF is almost to effective of an item sink. so gl getting any of the items from MC after you farmed 200 dgs you know.

My goal there is to use an instanced loot system to push people to not solo things while still getting a similar amount of loot

Trying to say, make every class be able to solo a boss as easy as all the others is nearly impossible with our class and content design

(The instanced loot will be account bound. Little reason to bring mc alts compared to bringing your friends on their main accounts.)

i know its almost impossible to get every class to do every boss. im just trying to tell you how fast it ramps to be able to solo atm i think the 1% is kind of getting crazy in ss just because of it 😂

Wanting to encourage active play whilst simultaneously making certain classes suffer that have to do more because they have the potential to be MC'd, Engi/FC

seer SD gunner and ranger all just got changed and are kind of fun and in a good spot, engi fc is getting rework now have some faith my man 😂
