It really frustrates me that items always need to be fixed before they can be sold, which takes a lot of time. What's even worse is that you can't visually tell if something is broken—unless you check the item description, it might be completely damaged. Sometimes, repairs cost millions of credits, making it feel like the time spent farming items or money isn't even worth it compared to the time wasted on fixing them.
#Repair, repair cost, selling items when them broken.

I can confirm that damaged and destroyed fighters and damaged diffusers can be found on captured blue gammas which is a little weird. I can understand the diffuser damage but not the destroyed fighters though
You have to repair all of them before selling the contents of the ship which is silly since the fighters cost millions to repair but sell for like 1k credits. No way to scrap them.
The repairing before scrapping thing is an unfortunately necessity to prevent abuse within the model of the repair system (otherwise, you could extract credits from an item, and then sell it).
Damaged items do show slightly differently in the inventory.
They spawn with the fighters, if they get killed they don't get more.
Interesting so if the fighter is destroyed it’s scooped back up by the ai? Lol wasn’t sure how this worked
I thought once dead they were just perma dead lmao
The price of an item could just be reduced when it's damaged instead of requiring expensive repairs. New players don’t always have the cash to afford fixes.
I return alive after boss fights, but as someone who started playing just a day ago, repairs are already costing me millions. Maybe the current prices make sense for experienced players who understand the economy and know the best farming spots, making it less time-consuming. But for a new player, spending millions on repairs so soon feels strange. After all, I’ve only been playing for a day or two.
I was just lucky to be invited to a team and given some starter money—without it, I wouldn’t have been able to afford repairs at all.
The second thing that makes the game boring for me is that I can't repair items directly from a bot's inventory. I have to transfer them to the main ship first, which feels unnecessary and weird.
I don’t mind small interface issues or the fact that the game requires time and effort to learn. But the repair system feels like unnecessary busywork. In my opinion, it should be smooth, intuitive, and user-friendly.
Thank you for your attention.
Your bots will repair when you do.
If they are undocked
You can also be docked and press x on them then click repair ship on the bots
They do not need to be docked
You also don't need to move items around to repair them. If you have ships docked you can get into them and then easily click repair ship in the bottom right of the ship screen
From time to time, I need to replace the equipment on my bot's ship. But when I remove it, I can’t sell it right away because it requires repairs first. Constantly moving items back and forth just to fix and sell them takes too much time and makes the game feel tedious—maybe even frustrating.
Could probably get the server to subtract the repair cost, would just need to handle when the repair cost is greater than the scrap price.
