I love strontium, it’s great to have kill quests that reward you with something. But after getting piracy up and buying a few strontium tech 20 items I now have a massive pile of Dollas with nothing worthwhile to buy. Sure I could buy another overloader or energy and add it to the stack I already have but they go unused.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to add another Dollas sink to Strontium. Maybe a way to sell Dollas for credits like allied commendations. Or perhaps some tweaks could be added to the trade bay?

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll mark on our backlog to review this. The number of ai missions have ballooned and it's become a bit unwieldy.

#

The missions also already give XP and credits.

Only way I'm ever doing anything with Strontium is if we get dynamic "missions" (which are basically achievements in any other game) that give you the reward whether you've directly accepted a mission or not.

#

But I definitely have some ideas for the next level of Strontium 🙂

#

So like, if you kill 500 of X AI then the achievement pops and informs you that you are eligible to pick up a reward from Strontium or something like that.

Yeah I'd really like to transition the entire zone to premium "tasks".

tbh, I would use that functionality everywhere if someone added it

But I didnt want to over promise :p

I think some things are appropriate for missions and other things appropriate for "Achievements/Tasks" that can just be turned in if your character did it at any time.

yep that idea has precedent in other mmos too, rift online had a bunch of kill x/gather x quests that popped up when you were in the right area and could turn in when you are done, world of warcraft has a similar system

The items used to have scrap value

#

And because players valued dollas lower than the scrap values, it was called an exploit

That’s weird doesn’t seem to fit the definition of an exploit to me
