I believe there was a note about a rof / elec temp bug fix in patch notes

JechtZ, when I first made this item, it did use a -recoil, but then I found the "disable weapons" effect. Seems like it's just a roundabout -500% ROF effect though 🤔
I made a new gremlin that disables weapons. Might move it over to that
Since the firing debuff affects your RoF immediately, If you fire during the tweak, you still have to wait the full time for your weapon to regen, whether the buff is up or not. Had this happen all the time in Panthers since the beginning of time.
The key is to not fire during the buff or you suffer the recoil until your weapon is rechared.
Yeah the gremlin lacks that problem so I'll take a look
This is not the issue, I've noticed the same thing and have made sure I have stopped firing pre-click. And still can't fire again until the -30% Temp Aura is almost up. Where before I didn't have to stop firing and I would start firing again after just a short delay into that portion of the Aura.
Confirmed issue with 2 other SoH members.
Aye, I don't think it is the Elec Temp portion. No firing and jumping into a new system. Hit Heart, can't fire until the -Temp portion is almost over. Wait a minute. Hit Ruined Shelling Focus which also has a -Temp portion and can fire immediately.
Is dependent on weapon. Above was testing with Celestial Trebuchet with a 1.74s Recoil. I swapped to my Twisted Torch with .04s Recoil and can fire almost immediately after going into the -Temp portion of the Heart.

I'm test and swap to that the problem is I need zen of calming not to affect it
So I need custom code written for a optional immune
Problem is the "-500% recoil" portion is starting at the end of the affect? So with the Celestial Trebuchet you can't fire 8.7 seconds (500%) until after the Disables weapon portion wears off? Which by eyeballing it feels about right when the Trebuchet starts firing again.
It may be just a display issue
Will this be fixed in the upcoming Uni?

Yeah it's still on my radar. The weapon disable grem had a bug so trying to hunt that down
believe i've fixed this @grand creek @noble token @latent schooner via workaround, test is restarting. let me know if it works
the issue was how we do the weapon disable, it still takes your recoil into account for some reason after the disable ends
so i just got rid of it and gave you -100% damage during the disable instead lol. now you can shoot through it but will deal no damage, so no more recoil shenanigans
you still want to stop shooting, pop heart, wait for elec temp buff before shooting. so the usage should be the exact same
if it works, took maybe 10 minutes to do 🤷
yup. this fixes the issue. only difference being you'd have to actively release and press spacebar, but that's completely fine by me
Somehow I missed this and recently reported it as a bug on Test3. While it works as described it is a less than desirable work around. I hope more time can be spent delving into the issue once the current workload is complete.
