That's most likely what he was referring to, the stand is a bit too thin for the weight of the figure, especially on the top where you insert the stand's arm into the back. You can use the stand of course but I would advise to not put the Slayer in a jumping pose, otherwise there's no support from the figure, and the whole weight (he's heavy) hangs freely on the stand, and then it will break

The hinges are not the problem, it's the thin "finger", the top end of the stand

Got mine off Amazon. But yeah, like RedKnife says, they're a bit expensive, so that's a way to recognize the real figure

The dark horse one comes in second but the accessory size is way off and is way less posable

So I couldn't comment on McFarlane. The figma slayer is really good to move about but the plastic stand and arm aren't great

And it can be easily broken

• Crucible, heavy cannon, plasma rifle and bfg are TINY, nothing like their in game counterparts
• Why is the doom blade so ridiculously long
• Genuinely has the best accessory out of all 3 figures (lost soul)

I havent had any problems with the figma stand, i just used a screwdriver to tighten the screws

I'm not sure why they are the scale they are but they are made quite nicely I will say

My main problems with the figma are

• Arm joints (the obvious problem)
• Leg joins (a bit wobbly and i still havent figured out how to remove them without possibly breaking the figure)
• Doom blade (retracted) can fall out in certain arm positions (easily fixed with nail polish tho)

It's not that bad? Comes from the Slayer being hand painted, you can always remove the top layer of his paint if it bothers you that much

• Doom blade slipping out is easily fixed with clear nail polish (or super glue if youre lazy and willing to risk it)
