if you meet minimum system requirements listed, then yes you can, dlss is implemented in the game, you don't have to download it, if you're amd user then you can't use dlss but FSR, if you're nvidia, you can use both one at a time

The ryzen 7600x is a 6 core cpu so you might have to wrangle with the settings to find the sweet spot (take that with a grain of salt idk.)

1. Change the cooler to a liquid cooler, ideally an arctic liquid freezer III 360mm
2. The gpu is good for 1080p and maybe a bit of 1440p, but in the future you might wanna upgrade, you can save some money to get a 5070 ti if you buy 4 TB worth of Sn850x SSD's instead of 990 Pro's (you wont notice a difference in games at all)

Hey I don't know if this is the right place for suggestions but I got a suggestion for the PC version.
Could we have some settings where the user can define the resolution
Or in the case of DRS a lowest, and maximum value.
Preferably that functions with any Temporal or AI upscaling method.
I really think that would be a feature at least some will appreciate. For me personally I really think that this also should have been in eternal or in any game that relays on any form of upscaling.

The only positive example I can give would be cyberpunk 2077 there you can do that at least with TAA and DLSS I think.
It's also an good example because people not wanting to tweak some numerical value can just use the presets
(I really don't like the concept of a factor being obscured by preset names instead of giving Users just the number or numbers to tweak)

That's no hate against the dark ages or eternal or any other I just know I gonna spend a significant amount of time in this game and want it to be as perfect as it can be. Especially after the first playthrough

Well that's true for the output resolution the internal resolution with up scalers a factors giving by the presets example DLSS performance or quality.
But I would like to use different values because I think dlss falls apart at roughly 55% on my Monitor

Internal meaning the the resolution of the 3d rendering and not the output to the monitor which can be changed in every game

And I would like to use dynamic resloution scaling but I think 50% resolution is to low even with an algorithm as good as DLSS 4
And having a higher output to combat that has a computional cost and a high Vram cost

Yeah it's kinda an unfortunate that that all upscalers can handle any resolution factor from .33 to 1. In theory but it's Always implemented in a way that you can't actually do that I get that there are these presets so the user don't have to think too much.
But for people knowing what resolution is it's a dissservice
But yeah it's kinda the fault of Nvidia AMD and Intel for just providing that format and nothing more. So everything more is just extra work for the programmer of the game

Prior to getting antitamper locked out, I was getting the bethesda logo and 3 bars of piano, before a crash to desktop, and bugsplat. tried proton 9, experimental, hotfix and 10(beta).

Think I'm locked out by Denuvo Antitamper now - I've tried different versions of proton and now nothing new will pop up. Think it counts as a new install on each launch of proton. If locked out that'll be 24 hours before I can try again.

Yeah I have the premium edition of the game, and despite updating my drivers (like it forced me too), I couldn't start up the game. It was either I'd be stuck on the leading screen before I hit the menu, or it'd crash almost instantly.

Hi everyone! Been struggling with getting to play TDA. It keeps crashing for me since starting it up this morning. Last night I could play through the first three missions without any issues, but today I can't get 5 minutes in without it crashing.

My drivers are up-to-date (576.40), I'm well-equipped to run the game on Medium but even Low makes it crash, I've verified the game files, closing all other programs, turning off Steam Overlay, turning off any recording/clipping software - basically everything I could think of/articles have mentioned. Okay, a little frustrated. 13900k, 4090gtx, 64gb ram and windows 11. Game had the bug where I only heard audio, now it just says running in Steam for about 10 seconds while the id launcher pops up telling me I need the latest drivers (which I've installed, and reinstalled in attempt to fix this) - and then immediately stops playing. It's not running in task manager after steam goes back to being able to hit play, nothing opens at all. If you're having issues with Bugsplat right on launch or general instability issues, make sure you're on the latest driver, disable any EXPO or XMP profiles and definitely disable your integrated graphics if you're on a X3D chip. I'm getting 250FPS on ultra nightmare everything 2X DLSS on Quality, no reason to try to get more on my end with 4x MFG.

I managed to fix like 7 peoples games yesterday simply because they put in the effort. Lets start with baseline stuff, disable any XMP profile or memory overclock thats set in BIOS. The 14700 has a integrated GPU so you also want to go into Device Manager > Display Adapter and disable the Intel UHD if you have it there, do not disable your 4060Ti.

It's also worth it to reinstall the driver, not express, press custom and then tick the Clean install button. This is all via Nvidia App.

There probably isnt going to be a patch until Day 1. If you have XMP or any EXPO profile on, disable it and make sure you are on the latest driver

Disable any integrated graphics if you have em, and run BIOS updates and chipset driver updates if possible

Some folks in here haven't even been able to launch without disabling it. This varies so wildly across systems but it seems like X3D chips have to disable their iGPUs to run and Intel chips have to disable XMP for a stable game

Its a 30 series card so you wont get frame gen, but you can set DLSS to performance or balanced to see if you get better frames. FSR might be the better route in all of this since it will allow you to have some frame gen on.

People don't go through the time to update their BIOS/chipset and generally don't bother to even clean install GPU drivers.

I would run 8800 but the current bios I'm on has an issue with unstable reboots at speeds at 8800 or higher

Hi, i have an issue, i already said it at the "dark ages" channel, but i think it's better to ask about it here.
Im playing Dark Ages in a laptop with an i7, a rtx 3060, 16gb ram. The game overal runs just smooth but the shadows are completely washed out. I attach a screenshot here. At first, i just thought it was like this, but after this i checked on youtube and the game looked so much light balanced than my case.

Posting a fix that worked for me if it helps anyone

Motherboard : MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
CPU : AMD 7800X3D
GPU : Nvidia 4800 Founders

The FAQ says to disable the integrated in device manager or bios, OR update to specific drivers.

I had the integrated disabled in BIOS and was locked to 40-50FPS in the game at any graphic setting and any resolution. It was obvious it was also not respecting the graphics settings and using LOW.

I enabled the integrated in BIOS, updated to the driver version recommended then disabled in Device Manager and the issue went away. Now running at 105-150FPS at 3440x1440 @ nightmare with dlss quality

The disable in BIOS was the culprit. Enabled in bios and disabled in windows fixed it. I cannot confirm if the driver update mattered.
