but I already miss dashing and level design that actually tells you where to go without you having to wander around for several minutes trying to find the right path

Breaking 1 cooler, killing the and summoner, then try and use plasma rifle stun to get demons close enough and melee them to make them weak enough to rocket them

let me give you one advice

when playing in UN, make sure you're standing next to any cliff you are going to jump from, take your time and make sure you'll land where you need to land

this motherfucking game has some really poorly designed terrains and sometimes you're running full speed to make a jump and there are elevations on the ground that are gonna put you on airborne state and prevent you from actually jumping

and you fall to your death just like that, it's awful lmao

If you were to make it with only double jump, i think it has to be pixel perfect

You get the yellow keycard from a zombie after fighting a Gore Nest horde. Go to the previously locked yellow door, and activate the console in there. It’ll unlock a door upstairs where you found the keycard. Go in there, and find the vent at the end. It’ll lead you to the restricted room.

I also did find a way to get to the Classic Map switch from where the nearby toy is

honestly, after I watched that video, killed him next try, I think technique was everything, and I was blind to how to develop it myself it seemed, but was easy to follow the strat from the video, and was easy enough I feel bad for even asking for help in hindsight.

it was the first difficulty and first boss in the whole game, up to him enemies were easy

i think the fire wave was something i just didn't have timing to dodge, and was double jumping the second phase, and strafing while he threw walls, the walls themselves hurt you.

That's only early on. Once you get used to nightmare in 2016 it becomes the go too. I don't feel uv is balanced well and you can basically steam roll the game

Play it on nightmare if you plan on playing doom eternal and the DLCs. Doom 2016 is the tutorial for Doom Eternal, Doom Eternal is the tutorial for DLC 1, DLC 1 is the tutorial for DLC 2

Lock on Rockets and Siege Mode on the Gauss Cannon are really effective. The missile barrage attack when he launches them from his back is easily avoidable as you just have to stay outside of the circles that appear on the ground. For his rocket launcher just weave left and right and you should be fine. The fire blade attack can be jumped over and ducked under. His boost is also quite slow and easy to dodge. And ya know if you don’t wanna do all that there is the BFG Exploit but it’s more rewarding to beat him regularly.
