No glory kills 6. if i run out of ammo i have to load a checkpoint or restart the level

So I just read about a glitch you can do with the BFG to get it to do more damage by intentionally missing, and using the weapon wheel to slow down time when the tendrils of the projectile start damaging enemies, but the BFG will still calculate damage in real time, allowing you to quick kill things like the Cyberdemon. Is this still in the game or has it been patched? Wanna try it out on my Nightmare run on Switch

It’s basically the Nightmare difficulty but with permadeath, and yes, it’s quite hard. You’ll have more trouble getting past the beginning of the campaign though. Tables turn about half way through and you become OP. It requires both skill, and a bit of luck. Glory kills do more harm than good, and Imps are the most dangerous enemies in the entire game. @echo wraith

Shooting them in the eye acts as a headshot of sorts. You’ll deal extra damage and almost always falter them. Gauss Canon is perfect for this. Two shots straight in the eye will kill it iirc.

take in your environment and try to do so quickly, see what you can use to move around easier too. Try to notice other things aswell, what ammo is lying around, if barrels are present, hp pickups and armor etc

i think my biggest issue with eternal is that its just kind of doesn't have anything to do outside of the actual campaign, battlemode is a far cry from 2016's alternative modes

i don't think extra life mode really counts as anything new since its kinda just UN-lite

tbh i think the upgrade systems in general in both games are a bit much and make me spend too much time thinking about what to use instead of shooting things
