So I think I got bamboozled on DOOM 2016:
I did a full Nightmare run to get all or at least as many secrets and such as possible. Meaning I'd go through the hassle of scouring "every nook and cranny" to get what I need. I was trying to get the platinum trophy for the game on PS4 to prep for Eternal. Well needless to say, maxed out my boi with all the praetor suit tokens, argent cells, field drones, and the runes (or so I think). I go to view my trophies once I completed the game, and to my surprise, I don't have the trophy.

@elder meadow harder difficulties are difficult at first, but soon, you should be able to understand enemy patterns like second nature. It started kicking in for me at around lvl 2.
Also, I recommend playing csgo a bit if you really want to practice. Playing that game puts you at a higher level like no other because it's so unforgiving.

Going from csgo to any other shooter feel like a cakewalk.

OHHHHH I found out why it was off

When you turn on motion controls.
“Which I heard we’re omg amazing”
And automatically learned I can’t aim for shit using motion I turned it off.

Turning on motion automatically turns off aim assist.

And turning off motion doesn’t turn aim assist back on

And since trying motion and then turning it off was the first thing I ever did, I never noticed aim àssist wasnt on

Also to answer your question Allstin, I went from struggling on UN to just get to the level after foundry to getting there with no issue.

So when I played Ultra Nightmare, I got to the third level and then proceeded to quit for the night.
The next day, my save was gone. I had not died at any point. Is this intentional or what? I thought it says that you can save as long as you exit the game without dying.

You can’t tank in NM like you can UV, it may feel like a system shock at first until you get used to it

big change to NM is how little health and armor you get from pick ups...you have to rely more on running and gunning rather then tanking a shot and grabbing a medpack

glorykill whenever you can, not just for health, but also for the I-frames

finally, prioritize targets.....imps and soldiers should take precedence over possessed
