yeah, but people just didn't like it because while having only the flashlight out was annoying as all hell, it added to the horror atmosphere. The BFG edition also brightened up the lighting so it was easier to see, which ruined the horror vibes

well, I never particularly liked doom 3 because it felt claustrophobic and dark. And while the game is enjoyable, it's a doom game, and doom was always about feeling powerful. Doom 3 strips you of that power

well it does and it doesn't. you can still feel as if the demons don't have any threat, but you're never actually in control of what happens. You always have to go to one specific place in the same route and the demons show up out of nowhere

Well that completely depends on you. Although you can play like a coward and engage the intended slow pace style of the game the unique thing about doom 3 is nothing is stopping you from being a complete bad ass and running around killing everything infront of you as they come

Last time I did a 3 run it was like in 3 hour 30. It was a blast. Taking it slow can be good. I highly recommend a nightmare run though since it amps up tension and combat at least. That is if you already did the game veteran and unlocked nightmare

Nah you only die in one hit if you're playing slowly. You start with the soul cube that fills you up so as long as you're running and gunning you're golden. However.. if you go in playing slowly you will be fucked quickly

Let's say, Doom 3 took place in 2145, UAC opened the hell portal. After Doom Marine killed Cyberdemon and end the demon invasion, UAC shut down forever.

Doom 3 I can defend the reloading because you’re still in tight situations where it keeps you dancing but also it encourages you to swap to another weapon
