It means "making something worse", because the BFG Edition make a lot of the changes that made the game worse. From not having to swap between a weapon and a flashlight, to having areas be brighter, giving more ammo despite the game already giving enough ammo in the og game, cutting enemies, ext (there's a whole wiki page that goes more into every change)

in my realistic opinion i believe the game was very good and qualitative leap for Doom players at the same time Half Life 1 was a game that cannot be recreated because its masterpiece If you played Half Life 1 first and then Doom 3 you might feel like the quality dropped as if it were a poor version of Half Life 1

Given the tech, I think it was a long enough campaign, particularly with the expansions, although I wouldn't have minded more. FPS campaigns tend to be around 10 hours in length, although I'd prefer if they were more like first-person RPGs in length, like Fallout, Starfield etc.

5: pinkys they are just big and annoying

4 chain gunners as they do so much damage

one of the things that really pissed me off when i played through the normal doom 3 was i saved up like almost 70 grenades and like so much ammo and stuff for the final boss (even though the final boss is very underwhelming along with pretty much ever other boss / mini boss excluding the boss that gaurds the soul cube) / mini bosses just for when you get sent to hell you lose all your items (guns ammo that sorta stuff) and you have to re get everything

I had fun playing doom 3, but ressurection of evil destroyed my ass at the begining 2 times - first us when you try to understand what the fuck is a hellrail, what does heart do in this mod, and the second is when you try to leave this room with tons of zombies

And only after recognizing my speedruning attemps I understood. Blocking doors by boxes is the best thing idtech4 can give us

The xbox port had changes to some of the levels so it all could fit. Also the demon variety took a hit too. I had it for the og xbox 🙂
