Ok, I'm just gonna say it: The Marauder as a part of encounters does not really work.
If you're a skill God at the game, then of course, he's easy cakes for you, but that'd apply to every enemy.

Lore-wise, The Marauder is my favorite demon without a question. The idea of a Night Sentinel turning to Khan Makyr's side is pretty neat and I'm fully having it.

Other than that, I don't think he works in encounters, even as an uncommon enemy.
Like, The Doom Hunter works as that because it's fast, spongey and has a weak-point like heavy demons. It's just that the weak-point happens to require tons of ammo to take advantage of.

i have all milestones except for 11 battlemode ones but im 47/80 on argentas paladi ive been searching and everything related to this bug is either from 2020 or 2021 and most of them were around 67/80 so im just kinda lost now does anyone have any idea why this is still bugged (also what does it mean by "default" milestones? does it count dlcs, horde or battlemode?)

it is the easiest un in the game to alot of players. world spear is very empty, reclaimed earth i thought was really fun especially the second escalation encounter, immora felt very empty as well and the dark lord fight was a glorified marauder. i still enjoyed tag2 but i thought tag1 was alot more fun/exciting

Tbh, my only tip Is that when I'm bad I'm going to youtube and search how to git gud at wood eternal, I mean doom eternal and I click that video that I trust the information to be the most Informative and helpful (that's how I learned combo's) and just trying to git gud. also my personal tips don't panic, don't repeat mistakes, don't be scared to slay demans at the frontline, use flame belch frag grenade's&freeze grenade's, stay on the movement/flow, Still the most important thing is that for you to enjoy the game and you will learn overtime and will become the slayer.

Is it bad to use Chaingun Shield? Some people say it's broken and creates bad habits. I think the mod is cool and it serves as a use for the chaingun in general, since the Mobile Turret really is weak compared to everything else.

It’s not bad, just something that can be abused easily in game. Wasn’t intended to be as abuseable to the extent people use it, but nothing people use in DE’s combat nowadays is “normal”

There's a level of tragedy to this game once you know how everything works and all the combinations that work best for you.

Then there's nowhere to go. You can get faster, smarter, and tryp harder difficulties, but you won't have the joy of learning all the uses for the weapons ever again, or that awesome feeling when you realise you weren't using a weapon enough and start including it more

Keep in mind that Restricted still allows skips and certain Speedrun tricks. If you want to run a legitimate "glitchless" category you can feel free. And if it gets popular enough (i.e. 2, 3 people running) it can get a leaderboard.

Remember that runs are established and THEN a leaderboard is made, not the other way around.

Speedrunning should always be fun first and foremost, and some people get disheartened by the current leaderboards. So just do whatever seems most fun

If you found final sin fairly easy, sure turn it up

If you want an actual answer, a lot of times when there are issues id has done bandaid fixes for the issues. For instance, if you pause during the pop up after a secret encounter or an escalation encounter in TAG1 or TAG2, you gain invincibility until the next cutscene is triggered.

To "patch this out" id simply made it not possible to pause during these moments. ...except if you alt tab the game automatically pauses for you, so it's still possible trigger the glitch on PC.

Your best shot Is to lock on, arbalest or BFG until it dies. I suggest BFG as ypu can hit the DK too. Then just focus on the PE. Try to stay on the platforms and keep an eye on the BM. There's a way to kill both demons before the battle start but I don't know if you can once you are in the last stages

Best way to deal with an Arch Vile I learned on here: 1 x Ice Grenade (or regular nade if you're outta ice, for stagger) followed by 2 x LOB Rockets; instakill every time.

Ice bomb +lock on on the first one
Frag + Lock on on the second.

It dies with 2 lock on both ways

You can also frag the first one first. Make sure you frag first before you lock on otherwise it can teleport away

12 rockets should do the job.

If once ypu kill the first one the second starts summoning crap, you can always swap to Microwave beam and hold it, throw a frag while you do it and then switch to lock on

For a game that's the more fun the more parts of your arsenal you use, they made damn sure that the mod swap speed is slow. Even with upgrade it's like 3x the speed of a weapon swap. Ridiculous.

Mod swap should be half the speed of a weapon swap, not double. Even with the upgrade it's excruciatingly slow. Let's just take an eternity, that's fine, who would want to have convenient access to both micro missiles and precision bolt, am I right?
