By the time TAG2 happens, Davoth no longer has his powers since they've been transferred to the Slayer, so he has to compensate with a mech.

I've read everything here, there is no source confirming the suit cannot be penetrated. What it says it the UAC failed to penetrate it with conventional lab tech. Demons do not use conventional lab tech, they use magic and fire, and it does a great job at hurting the Slayer in-game.

The Praetor Suit may have been made in Hell, but it is of Argenta manufacturing. Realistically, it's essentially an elite Argenta suit.

I'd argue that the Slayer's armor isn't as strong as it's made out to be. The Praetor armor just seems to be a modified full body sentinel suit with the added ability of absorbing Argent out of demons and converting it into vitality, which in itself is what makes it superior to traditional sentinel armor. The codices pointing out it's invulnerability are mostly humans (who failed to harm it with their scientific apparatus) and demons; who call it invulnerable because they themselves failed to match the Slayer's prowess. The suit in itself has several burn marks and deformities, clearly indicating it's vulnerability.

Yeah. And it's clearly made of, well, scrap metal. The 2016 Praetor Suit has several serial codes, corporation names, etc... adorned on it.

You’re giving the impression you’re not interested in improving. A second run through would do you a ton of good. In fact, my first run through ignoring collectibles was one of the funnest.

There is a save manager tool, bur unfortunately it only lets you record save file snapshots at specific checkpoints, and they aren't transferable to other users. Very useful for testing a level "as if you were mid run/playthrough" but unfortunately no sharing files between players.

Kinda in a similar boat; have beaten the game twice (once on UV, once on Nightmare) and I've done a lot of the other side content, but I really wanna get the Deluxe Ed. on Steam since the Game Pass version doesn't come with the DLC, and I'm so keen on that. What I'm NOT keen on is doing the campaign again, if I'm honest. Though, it's a ton of fun so I might just. What you’re supposed to do is go back down, stand on what’s basically the elevator, and shoot the big green button. From there you’ll be elevated back up to where the switch is. You have a short time period to run over to the green switch, and activate it

You may want to clear the campaign on UV or NM before doing DLC. Reason being, DLCs were released long after Campaign was, so they were designed for people who were bored with campaign already

DLC Part 1 is definitely challenging. You will definitely feel the pressure and encounters get rough. DLC part 2 is much easier but it is a lot of fun. Both have cool levels as well.

SSG PB has better DPS and better ammo consumption, considering how at max the SSG gets 12 shots but the bal gets only 10 and ammo is shared with the plasma rifle, which is often used to kill spirits.

However, any base content outside of TAG 1 and WS ML can be beaten just by SSG Bal DPS, so it isn't necessary to force yourself to use the combo. Especially if you're on console and you have to sacrifice movement for comboing.

If it’s a certain thing every time, I’d call that a skill issue. Like “I can’t get past the cybermancs in this encounter.” Obviously I lack skill in beating CMs in that case. But if I die at the second Archie or the swarm of cacos or the tyrants, inconsistently, then I contend I have all the skill to beat all of them but I get worn out and slip up at some point during the encounter.
