this argument sucks because every piece of content in the game has a level of difficulty not tied to the difficulty select (base game for example is a joke on any difficulty. in the very first arena, horde spawns dlc enemies which do not show up in base game, so expecting base game difficulty from it is stupid)

the difficulty select in this game has nothing to do with enemy placements and it never has, so how about you turn it and your ego down instead
