Hi. Have owned Eternal since launch but am only now getting into it. So I'm looking at the list of skins. It shows skins for owning Doom, Doom II, Doom 3. I bought the DX pack on Steam. Do these count or do I need to own them on Bethesda launcher?

For DOOM and DOOM II and DOOM 64, you get the skins and the titlecards and avatars on Steam, however DOOM 3 on Steam does not give you those. You will need to get it on the Bethesda Launcher, but if you have Eternal on steam on the same computer, you will be able to get the skin

Let's separate the timeline of the Maykrs into three eras.
1.) When the Father was alive
2.) When the Father was a life sphere, but still in Urdak
3.) When the Life Sphere was stolen from Urdak altogether.
After the Father became a life sphere, the Father no longer led the Maykrs. He simply watched them and offered comfort in their prayers. This marked the beginning of the Maykrs' corruption.
By the time the Maykrs found the Argenta and introduced themselves, they were already corrupt and evil. Their motives were to subjugate lesser civilizations to feed their egos and spread the word of the Maykrs. They were, essentially, almighty narcissists.

The Maykrs are characterized as highly manipulative people who prey on the insecurities of lesser civilizations, then insert themselves as the solution through lies.

Each event up for purchase gives every item in the event. The ones that are not on the store will probably be added in future. HOWEVER: Event 2's rerun published a new skin called "CAMO" for the Slayer. The Original event's first run was a different skin called "Trooper" with a marpat design.

Here's how I think I understand this: I must purchase Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3 (non-BFG edition) in Bethesda Launcher. Then, I can use their associated skins in Doom Eternal AND those skins will have transfered over to my Steam account via the Bethesda.net account link. There is no way to get these through purchasing Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3 directly on Steam. Is this correct? @signal dirge

I'm probably not going to do it since I own them all on Steam already. Just curious if I'm able to get some skins for free through some loophole

To answer your question, @ivory ore, I think this tells us that their words to the Argenta were lies. "Salvation" implies their souls find peace in Urdak after death. We never see any evidence of Argenta occupation in Urdak. All signs point to this being a lie to control the Sentinels.
I would like to note though, that in the end, this lie came true - the souls of the Argenta did find their way to Urdak as fucked up horrible soul-juice thanks to their pact with Hell, made several centuries after the Maykrs approached the Argenta.

Doom and DOOM 64 will give you the rewards if you buy them off steam. DOOM3 MUST be bought on the Bethesda Launcher to log in for the rewards. Regardless if you have it on the Bethesda launcher, you will get the skins DOOM 3 rewards you with on steam.

That part isn't. The Father did create the Earthly realms, and he supposedly did it with holy machinery derived from the work of the Seraphs.

All of that shit seems to be, by my guesses, off-limits to the Maykrs now. Just like the Luminarium as a whole. Think of the Seraphs and the normal Maykrs as different "castes" in Maykr society. Like the Immorans VS the demons.

Note that the Seraphs, aside from Samur, do not suffer from Transfiguration. They're basically jailed. They are only allowed within the Luminarium, where they eternally stand guard. The only time they're seen truly leaving the Luminarium is when they lock Doomguy up at the end of TAG2.

The Seraphs were "punished" for what is implied to be some kind of failed uprising that happened way back in early Doom history, and it seems only Samur was spared this punishment and allowed to stay at the Father's right hand.

hell knight is the smaller one. baron of hell is the buy guy with the flaming swords. they throw a spirit buffed baron at you along side a regular baron at the end of the 2nd medalion fight in blood swamps. It's ultra fast and takes at least one direct hit from a bfg to kill. I got up to him three times now but just have such a small window to kill him since he's so damn quick
