Flame belch gives you armor, why would that suck? Every good player uses it. Don't double dash ever, and yeah keep moving. Use your sticky bombs and grenades. Learn to quick switch later after you learn the game a bit. Learn enemy weak spots when the game introduces them and tells you what they are. Don't stop and get stuck on one enemy at a time, do damage to a bunch as you're moving. If you stop and focus on one at a time you'll die.

I disabled my other two screens and the game works fine. Both eternal and 2016 work now. Dark ages has not had an issue.

I've always ran into a 2016-specific bug where opening a menu slows the fps to a crawl, but that drop immediately reverts itself after the menu is closed

Depends how good you are, I would wait until you are comfortable playing the main campaign with very few deaths before trying it. Go have fun playing the DLC and master levels first, those will help you improve much quicker so beating UN will be much easier

Yeah play more, but here's a few things everyone can work on. Improve your positioning, make sure you aren't cornering yourself or putting yourself in positions where you could easily get hurt. Not getting hit is much more important than maximizing DPS, prioritize keeping yourself out of danger over dealing damage. Use your grenades and flame belch CONSTANTLY. A grenade will always falter an enemy and flame belching then exploding a group of fodder can give you 100+ armor. Use ice bombs and then 2 lock on bursts to quickly kill archvilles.

You can definitely get really good on console but it's much easier to on PC

Spam lock on burst and you can delete her before she gets an attack off, while she recharges headshot a makyr drone and repeat

Yeah don't worry about it yet, the DLC's are pretty fun so play those. After that i'd recommend playing the master levels. They are SUPER hard and way more difficult than the campaign and DLC's so they will be a huge challenge, but they will also help you improve a ton

also i tried cbt atlantica for the first time, managed to get up to the red key arena without dying, fun madness

honestly I like the good ol ssg-ballista combo myself
most of my rockets are used for lock-on-burst, and I use a lot of bullet ammo with either the mobile turret or with micromissiles
so ssg and ballista are a nice way for me to even out my ammo consumption, plus the swap is very easy

also i just had a super bizarre thing happen to me, i was doing a deathless run on blood swamps and instead of a possesed baron a possesed carcass showed up????? The only odd thing abt this playthrough is that I simply let the doom hunter get possesed earlier for a fun fight, maybe that creates the possibility of the possessed baron being replaced by a possessed carcass? Idfk just blizzare.
The only other possiblity is that i was locked in so hard that I didn't notice this one baron I was locking on was possessed and when it died i didn't catch the spirit, which makes sense but why wouldn't the spirit go for the other barons in the arena at that time? Just an odd experience all around

naw but like dblade gives good dps, you can get maykr drones with base fire ballista, and ssg+ballista is quite decent

probably the hardest part is where the escalation encounter in the normal level is

no maykr drones for all 6 waves, no good dblade setups, and you can't use the meathook that well

What is it about the crucible blades being able to put titans in stasis? Some would think it’s just lasers, but is it really as simple as “wOoOo! Magic lasers?”

I guess ancient Argenta had to take the planet somehow. But if titans can be killed my mechs in The Dark Ages, then why does removing a crucible blade make them awake again?

Tho when u get ur crucible blade, when u take out the handle the titan reawakens

I am failing at the first Slayer Gate. And I dont do those for the Unmaykr I dont care about that stupid gun. I just want the weapon points to max out my weapon mods

you get enough weapon points from just playing the game

after doom hunter base you start to get more points than you really have anything to use them on

Marauders aren’t bad if you have time, quickswapping is still good, and fully upgraded health/armor/ammo make this better
