Lock in is extremely useful to get rid of resistant targets quickly, but remote detonation can deal damage to Marauders even if they got their shield up if you're smart enough, and can do decent damage to a medium size demon while getting rid of nearby fodder

I miraculously beat RANCID on my first try with a lot of close calls and the fps being awful (my gpu was having an aneurysm because nvidia's shitty drivers) and I just wanted to make sure I did all of the extra stuff

yessirr, there's an advanced tech involving the chaingun shield called dash boosting
a dash boost can be performed 2 ways, first is to be in the air and dash through an enemy with the shield up that would die from the shield bash (so any staggered fodder for example), and the second is shield bashing and only hitting an enemy with the shield's hitbox but not the player's while in the air (cause the shield has a slightly largdr one)

this'll allow you to maintain the peak speed of the dash which is ~30m/s, which is faster than any other mainstream way of getting speed (except meathooking)

too high FoV and you'll start aiming worse though, and way too high you can't see stuff properly

there's a balance between making it how you look vs aiming vs seeing stuff

and that particular area makes FoVs seem higher than they are usually (imo at least)

fire destroyer blade->continue holding alt fire->bring up the weapon wheel and swap from stickies to full auto, micro missiles to precision bolt, microwave beam to heat blast, lock-on burst to remote det or mobile turret to shield->let go of weapon wheel->let go of alt fire
