if you have two blood punches, try freezing the doom hunter, blood punch, super shotgun, then blood punch again

it takes out their sled REALLY quick and easily

the sled has 5k hp and each bp does 2400 damage to it, so if he's frozen, ssg bloodpunch usually takes the sled out by itself

but alternatively you can just frag + ssg + blood punch + ssg if you don't have ice bomb

because, you see, the ballista's knockback applies to the Y axis, too

I'm guessing you're msc'ing between rl and ballista after getting fse from the yeetblast

okay so essentially, silent BATS is when you combine a MSC and SMS, so the inputs become mod swap->swap weapon->mod swap
this allows you to get both of their effects, and MSC-ing is the most common way to apply the BATS effect to another weapon, which just makes it inherit the bring-up speed of the first weapon
and then you can actually SLOB without a starter by buffering the inputs like this: press alt fire, press fire, hold alt fire

so, if you combine all this you get a yeetblast into rl, and a silent BATS at the same time to swap into mwb and start a BATS chain with rhe MSC, then you do the SLOB without a starter (called rocketless SLOB, but if you suck at this game like me you'll end up firing a rocket), and MSC into ballista to do a cool BATS combo there

BATS (bring up animation transfer swap) is the ability to transfer the bring-up speed of one weapon to another
it's usually achieved by MSC-ing from a weapon to another, making the second weapon inherit the first weapon's bring-up speed (because that is one of many side-effects of MSCs)
but you can also do it under virtually any sync animation by buffering the input of the second weapon, so if you go into a glory kill, chainsaw, monkey bar swing, etc, with a fast weapon (pr, hc, chaingun, ssg) and hold down the key of a slow weapon (rl, csg, ballista), the second weapon will also get the BATS effect
punch BATS also exists but i'm not qualified to talk sbout that lol

there's tons of tips, but proper enemy prioritization will definitely help, although it's not as important as other aspects

just have situational awareness and always have height advantage over the big monsters, and get height by doing things like using staggered cacos as meathook points or by camping jump pads or monkey bars

here are a few general things, and usually most of them applies to nost players:
use your meathook a ton, both to reposition, restack via the flaming hook, and get into the air by jumping to detach. you can't use it too much!
make sure to always be dashing when you're on the ground, not just to get to a certain place or from a bad spot.
use your flame belch a ton, as soon as it's off cooldown, use it! also use your grenades a lot, but they aren't qs important as flame belch.
keep your ammo pools roughly uniform and chainsaw when they're at ~50%, you don't wanna run out of ammo.
and finally, most players do constantly move, but much of it is immaterial as it's just walking around a demon whole tunnel visioning on it, or keeping in only one spot of the arena. you don't need to kill a demon in one go, better to focus on keeping your HP, cycle through the demons and wear them down. and use the entire arena! don't stay in one spot, continuously move around everywhere. what happens otherwise is that demons come to you, you can't properly prioritize, you don't know what's on the field, it's easier to get into bad spots, and it's harder to restack.

well it works different for each piece of equipment you have
for frag grenades, each enemy killed by them will decrease frag cooldown by a small amount
also each enemy killed while frozen will reduce the cooldown for the next use of the ice bomb
and best of all, each enemy killed while on fire from the flame belch or the flaming meathook further reduces the cooldown of the flame belch

so obviously, if you were to freeze a group of enemies, light them on fire, then kill them all with a d blade for example, the flame belch/ice bomb cooldown is reduced significantly

i think it's mainly used in higher level play where you don't glory kill a lot, paradoxically enough
essentially, dazed and confused can turn demons into cover or platforms, in the case of cacos/pain elementals, and you can stand on them to increase air-time, even regen dashes without touching the ground by doing so!

The only thing it's useful for is so you don't have to finish an enemy right away or to glory kill multiple enemies (I find Savagery with Blood fueled better tho)

two of the master levels, being cultist base and arc complex, aren't THAT hard, they're like... Final Sin level difficulty

you could probably go through arc complex and cultist base master levels on UV pretty fine if you beat Final Sin on UV

it's when you get to like World Spear, Mars Core, and Taras Nabad that it's like now they're really pulling the rug on you

World Spear has an arena where you're confined to a circle and you're getting airstriked by a fucking B-52 every 30 seconds

Holt being one of the hardest cuz of that damned boss fight. The 2 arena fights in that level werent even that difficult too

Cursed prowler + carcass, along with doom hunter and a baron
Also some pain elementals sprinkled in with a possessed mancubus, followed by an archvile that spawns in the millisecond you kill him
And the last wave is just heavy spam
