Focus on the heavy demons mostly to progress the fights, use fodder to restack, you spend too much time staring at demons, there are moments where you are using your meathook going into the air but you are not shooting anything, using SSG against fodder might be overkill and waste of ammo IMO, save those weapons for the heavies, your movement needs work, you are spamming your double dashes and leaving yourself vulnerable enough to get hit (learn single dashing), the weapon wheel might slow down things but it can mess with the game loop, Id recommend using binds instead of the wheel

single dashing is when you only use your first dash, this will allow you to travel ~13% faster and spend less time without any dashes
it's better, but somewhat hard to do in a vacuum, and very hard while swapping, so it's pretty advanced tech and i wouldn't recommend sweating it just yet

the reason it's faster than regular double dashing is because with a double dash, you have to wait until your second dash has started charging up before you can dash again, and then it completely resets, essentially wasting time

haven't watched a ton yet, but you should use way more flame belch, because you currently get somewhat wittled down during combat (on average), instead of constantly keeping up with or surpassing damage dealt to you with the restacking
and more grenades
you should also never wait to chainsaw until your weapons are empty

it's hard to put into words, but your gameplay seems somewhat awkward
i think it's how you stand in the arena in relation to the demons. it's often that you position yourself in such a manner where demons can easily damage you, because it's often the only way you get any damage out.

i'm not really sure how i'm going to phrase this so i'm just going to rant because i believe all of this ties into eachother, and if you could get better at it you'll improve significantly
you use your flame belch too little, causing your health to generally be wittling down during battle, forcing you onto your backfoot. and then you often have too little ammo because you chainsaw too little, which impedes both your DPS and restacking capabilities (no ammo for flaming hook). you're not doing a ton to evade enemy damage when you're not on the backfoot (running away or looking for fodder to restack), and if you combine this with your scarce flame belching, you're forced into a playstyle consisting chiefly of not doing anything to actually clear out the arena. to fix this you should use more flame belch, chainsaw more often (you generally don't want any of your ammo pools to go a lot below 50%, except the shotgun pool because you get 15/24 back upon chainsawing). the aforementioned issue of your awkward position in relation to demons is something you need to actively think about to not allow them to get cheap shots. start sporadically dashing when engaging with demons on the ground, because currently you almost exclusively use it to get somewhere or away. don't use both your dashes when doing this however, because it'll probably do more harm than good and it creates bad habits; eventually you can start experimenting with proper single dashes. you should use your meathook to simply get into the air by jumping to detach, then you can prolong your stay in the air by jumping after having detached, and dashing to reset downwards momentum. one of the best ways to engage with demons efficiently and avoiding your somewhat awkward positioning relative to demons. you can also fire the ssg right after having detached (not before, then you get no height), to get some armor (preferably if you're in close range) because the fire on demons remains a bit even after you detach from the meathook.

but the CD is quite short at 12,5s (shorter if you use equipment fiend), and you don't find yourself in large groups groups that often, so it's just better to use it as soon as it comes off cooldown

What I always do is
Meathook, jump to detach (if you're above the enemy you're meathooking you want to break lose as soon as possible), when you start falling jump again (you always get back a jump after using the meathook), and when you start falling again, dash and then you can meathook again.

But, if you're out of dashes or you want to conserve them you can: meathook, jump to detach and shoot a ballista shot to the ground (you want to shoot the ballista shot while you're moving up from the jump or it will barely do anything), jump again and shoot the ballista to the ground and now you can meathook again.

Usually if there is a meathook node around, you can meathook it and then an enemy, and then you can do the ballista strategy, but with only 1 ballista shot. This is because meathook nodes are elevated so you get more height by meathooking them, meaning this also applies if you're just high in the air. How much you have to aim down your ballista shots will depend on the situation and you just have to get a good feeling for it.

You want to get good at staggering pain elementals/cacos in the air for when you run out of dashes, since if you GK any of them you get them back.

you can also stand on staggered cacos/PEs to regain dashes but that is harder

You have to get gold bounties only and not use them until the last wave

you can jump and then dash through a tentacle, marauder wolf, zombie, or imp to gain very good speed, you could also shoot a gargoyle, soldier, or mecha zombie until they're staggered and then do it (chaingun shield needs to be up)

or dash on the side of any demon

the chaingun shield's hitbox is larger than the player's, so if you hit a demon with only it and not the player's hitbox you maintain all the speed from the dash

which is very cool!

mobile turret is decent high DPS for low effort

you can also use the shield anytime you're low, or when you wanna go in for a blood punch

i realise i'm throwing around weird terms here, but a wack swap is just when you shoot (a slow firing weapon) press the heavy cannon bind, and immediately press the bind of another slow firing weapon to activate fse there, which creates this weird buffer animation

yeah lob needs to be mastered and it hasn't been patched out
all you gotta do is hold m1 as you're going into the rocket, and when the rocket has fired go over to holding m2

fse stands for fast swap effect and you need to apply it to the rocket launcher to do slob, it can be activated in a myriad of ways but it's most common with a pb shot

so as long ad you're going from pb to rocket you're good

fse is also why pb+rocket and pb+sticky bomb is so fast
