you can't do it with the ssg because there's mod mod swap to cancel lol
with the rocket it's unnecessary because if you apply fse that's faster, same goes for combat shotgun
for all fast firing weapons it's unnecessary

only applications of it is either for wack swaps, the ballista, lock-on mod, or silent mod swaps/BATS/silent BATS

so it does actually become quite a lot if you use alotta tech, but very few do that

yeah that's faster than if you were to do a mod swap cancel

MSC-ing does have the disadvantage that it delays alt fire in weapons

I think you should still use Q,E,R and F more. It doesn't really make sense to have something on G if you have free space closer to your idle position. plasma on 2 sounds really bad if you can't press it easily without letting go of W. not that plasma rifle is the most important thing in your arsenal but still. TAB is also a good key even though the game relegates it to menu by default

ok E is good, T sounds a bit far. it depends on how much you want to dabble with mod swap cancelling

I specifically mean mod swapping to cancel animations, mod swapping to actually swap mods is not that important in the game ironically

though on a base level I'd say lock-on cancel is the only one that's really worth it

still, your setup sounds like a really good start and if you can get used to it fast all the better

playing DE without extra buttons on your mouse is such a handicap

game has so much stuff going on it's crazy (which is why I love it)
