and you can spice it up little with grenade behind him after first balista shot for aditional stagger

highly recommend set a hotkeys for each gun and dont have it on 1234567 or Q wheel

well, like i said, performing a msc will often make your swaps slower

if you're doing a normal pb+rocket/sticky combo, at no point should you msc
this doesn't mean it isn't useful however, swapping out of a lock-on is usually quite slow, so it's useful there

you can also msc out of the ballista into the ssg, but i wouldn't recommend going into the heavy cannon, as performing the msc puts you into something called a combo swap chain (CSC), and while in this your alt fire will be delayed, until you break the chain by not swapping for a while, climbing a ledge, or meathooking

swapping into the heavy cannon will also remove the alt fire delay, but when you first do it you will notice a delay

MSC-ing is also the most common activator of BATS, which allows you to transfer the bring-up speed from one weapon to another, here are the 2 use cases:
start with heavy cannon/plasma rifle/chaingun (all the fast bring up weapons), MSC into ballista and punch cancel it, because punching can maintain a BATS chain, so you get faster punch swaps with the ballista
start with a fast bring up weapon and MSC into the rocket/ballista and then swap between them but have an MSC before each swap, this will grant you slightly higher DPS than a pb+rocket combo

you can also do pb, MSC, ballista, MSC, pb, repeat to pull of pb+ballista significantly faster than normally allowed, i love this

i would say the ice grenade against the tyrant is a bit of a waste, and often you shouldn't try to kill it in one go

oh yeah, one thing worth mentioning is that the ssg is extra good against tyrants for one reason: it's super easy to get full damage with it
the ssg deals 1600 damage, and it has a damage cap against tyrants at 1600, but it also deals increased damage against them, meaning you can miss a few shells and still get max damage, combine that with tyrant's already large hitbox and you get stonks

Foundry is pretty early. I'd say early 2016 is probably a lot rougher than early Eternal by comparison. Being able to dash alone is pretty big, but the arsenal in Foundry is quite limited on top of that. That said, the only time I played 2016 on less than Nightmare was when I did it with an N64 steering wheel.

I think Foundry would've been my chokepoint there as well if I didn't go with Ultra-Violence.

you can't actively kill the spirit without the beam, but if the last demon that's left is possessed, when you kill it the spirit will also die

you can also kill the demon it's about to possesd until it possess something you want, for example a mancubus without his canons, or an arachnotron without its turret
