Tbh it's just 2016's model viewer it's souped up as hell and not representative of what it looks like in game. There's preference of style ofc, but those who say it's graphically superior is not saying it correctly, it's moreso artstyle they are referring to but they can't articulate it for some reason

Most of 2016 is just souped up as hell because a lot of areas are filled with low intensity baked lighting and tons of contrast, lens flares, highlights and even puddles resulting in a more dramatic look on glossy surfaces like weapons and such.

There's areas and sections in some levels that are really poorly lit and look flat. I'll post some pictures when I have the chance to.

Yes, some of the hardest levels on UN can be the first 3 because you don’t have your full arsenal. After you get the SSG and upgrade your dash cooldown, then it gets easier

Go test in in game. Realistically the Micro Missiles should do less than the Mobile Turret when looking and their DPS alone, which it normally does, but on bosses like the Khan Maykr and The Icon Of Sin, the opposite seems to occur

Why does my rig only have trouble on some levels but not others? I'm on a laptop with an Rtx 3060 and an amd ryzen 5 5600h, it has plenty of memory and is on an SSD but only 6 GB vram. The game runs smoothly at 144 fps on most levels but in horde mode and super gore nest and on the fortress of doom it drops frames hard. ballista stuns them, i'd recommend using it over the ssg

if a marauder stuns or not depends on how much damage they take, and possessed enemies take less damage, so it's not that hard for the ssg to miss enough pellets for it to not be a stun

there are still some weird inconsistencies with the ballista, idk why

That’s true, but if you know basic quick switching a hammer stun is enough to kill any super heavy and refills all ammo making it do the same thing as the crucible

It can also be used at ridiculous frequencies, crucible can’t be used much. Hammer can also stun groups of enemies and you can quick switch to make it kill a ton of heavies in one swing. Also fully restacking from 3 fodder is as busted as something can be

there was definitely some moments where i thought how is this even fun, and other times where i was having a blast

the moments where i was confused on how people found it fun was the spirits part and how crazy the buffs are thats about it

arc complex/cultist base is arguably easier than tag1, but the rest is significantly harder, some very much so
tag2 is the easiest campaign

they definitely went a bit crazy with the marauders but i managed to fight through

doom slayer in eternal reminds me alot of batman in arkham knight

both just have such an insane amount of tools to take down their enemies it's mind boggling

overkill to the max

just got the hammer and boy is it addicting

all i need to learn is how to consistently get glory kills

whenever i see fodder enemies i don't know how to efficiently stun them for a glory kill

most of the time they die in one shot

rifle is your friend. 2 regular bullets puts zombies in a stagger 100% of the time assuming no headshots.

combat shotgun is nice on soldiers. typically 1 body shot at point blank or 2 if you're at medium range.
I almost always look for zombies though. 2 normal heavy assault rifle bullets is foolproof.

iirc a single dash will also put a zombie into gk state but I'm less confident on that.

ive seen a lot of people criticise doom eternals lore and writing and say its bad but i really dont think it is

i think people think it doesnt make sense just because theres so much of it that its hard to follow

like they did like 3 games worth of lore expansion inside 1 single game so its just hard to follow

but if you sit there and like really read through it and try to understand it (most of) it does make sense

not to say there arent any contradictions to previously established lore cause im sure there are some

but for the most part i think its written pretty well
