Even on the easiest difficulty I finished it with only like 4 extra lives left, the last level just fucks you

Gets you trapped in one spot easily where you can’t jump out and then you’re fucked

If they are flashing at all it means they are in a glory kill state, when it’s blue you are out of range and have to get closer to glory kill, if it’s orange you are in range and will glory kill them if you press the hotkey

I just completed the ARC Complex and Cultist Base Master Levels (the 2 regarded as the easiest online it seems), I was curious if I should try the campaign on UM? Yea those two are just as hard as a late game campaign level, not difficult at all. I think trying to UN the campaign is something you should go for, but it’s also a big commitment so trying out the other master levels first could be more fun and much quicker

Hi - I'm having an issue with the Switch version of Doom Eternal. I load a checkpoint and its lets me move around but without a body. I just "float" no weapons work except for the chainsaw. I've tried: restarting switch, deleting and redownloading Doom. Trying a new save slot where it works and then going back. If i try to load mastery levels in the same save slot I encounter the same issue. I'm just a floating chainsaw only man.

Getting frequent stuttering and frame drops, all because I'm trying to cap my FPS to 120. Any time a checkpoint is saved or a new enemy spawns in it dips to 40/50 fps before going back to 120 for a bit. 2016 and Dark Ages I managed to get to 120 smooth fps. Eternal worked on my old PC for 4 years flawlessly, I have 300 hours on the game. My new rig (which is more powerful) now hates it.

Any time I manage to make it run good, its plagued with screen tearing up the wazoo. No amount of Vsync or Gsync fixes it.

At this point im just gonna deal with the splitscreen looking screen tearing but its weird that Dark Ages and 2016 do NOT have this issue and Eternal didnt have it til I tried it on my new PC.

really no special interactions except that a tier 1 dblade will kill a carcass and prowler, even if they're possessed

there are some neat things you can do like instantly killing cacos with a fully charged dblade if you hit their eye and otherwise stagger them

and 2 tiers of dblade will stagger whiplashes/revenants, 3 will kill

Yeah I was just replaying Eternal and 2016 and after TDA and 2016, SSG just sounds... thin? It does to me. And meathook is very cool, I agree. But TDA's raw power is not to be underestimated.
