makes gks very safe when you combine them with the 300ms of post-sync invuln you get

de and especially early game rando has a small complication: shotgunners and carcasses can nuke you if you get too ambitious with your gks

always being able to dash out of gk makes that completely irrelevant

...and so does flaming hook, but you don't get that until the 3rd level

Speaking of flaming hook. If you only spend 9 points up until you get the ssg you can immediately purchase both upgrades

and start working towards flaming hook
