Yesterday I bought doom eternal, played 2 hours and closed the game. Today I'm trying to go again, when you go after the opening credits (where the game logo and you need to click on the button) or immediately black screen, or after I've already gone to the main menu of the game (as well as the game can also intentionally hang). Tried everything, everything you can. Wrote to tech support Bethesda, tried all the options that were offered to me but nothing helped. Please if anyone has faced or knows how to fix it help.

setting the weapon wheel delay to as little as possible is also beneficial as you'll be able to faster get into the weapons you want, if they aren't bound

hi guys, im having a problem with doom eternal on PC steam and microsoft store, own it on both platforms and installed it on both platforms and i get pass the messages at the beginning of the game and then it freezes, the background music plays and nothing else happens just stays frozen like that forever, i tried reinstalling on both platforms, verifying the game files and nothing. So if you can time this to when you turn around to deal with them, you don't need to wait

Should be fine then. In the campaign they’re super manageable because of the larger arenas they show up in after their first introduction. The DLCs are where things get more complicated

I totally agree, all mods can be useful at all skill levels, except mobile turret and micro missiles

They're just useful when you're a beginner and don't quick switch yet

Some mods (full auto for example) are just harder to integrate in higher level gameplay

You'd need to SMS which can be an entire thing to learn, but the main thing is you need to know preemptively when demons will stagger, so you can time it with SMS-ing into full auto

It's hard, but adds even more depth to the gameplay

Yeah, they Tyrant was really screwed over in Eternal when compared to 1/2's Cyberdemon

I do like the Manc in Eternal, though

probably somewhat prefer it over 1/2's

as you can quite easily dodge a Manc's attacks in 1/2

It feels good when the game feeds you enemy’s and you set them on fire and you get infinite punch for like 5 seconds

Always thought it would've been a good compromise if they gave the punch actual damage, but completely overrode glory kills.

So that you can 1-tap a zombie but get no resources out of it.

New to the discord server. I have a quick question for my fellow slayers.

I am quite new to the DOOM universe DOOM eternal being my first game. I have about 200 hours played and am trying to eventually beat ultra nightmare on console. As of right now I can beat the game with no lives lost on ultra violence. I've tried nightmare but usually die around exultia/cultist base. My question is how many hours do you think you logged before you finally beat ultra nightmare?

I will admit quick switching on console is a barrier I need to overcome
