Don’t try to shoot at his arms or hands tho, they move quitte often, making them hard to hit and thus a waste of bfg ammo

I wouldn’t even go as far as saying juiced, maybe in the aspect that he has a far larger health pool, but he’s got a bigger hit box, so hitting the greenlight is easier, he’s also far more predictable and his attacks are heavily choreographed, and due to the fact he’s a stand-alone fight ( asides from summons ), there’s no enemy prioritization to be had, also the fact that the hammer exists, which is a given, it’s not exactly like that same facet isn’t applicable to the marauder but the fight kinda hands it out to you via summons and zombies respawning and just standing there begging to be glory killed, and the fact I couldn’t even go as far to describe it as juiced up might be an even bigger testament to how relatively underwhelming the fight was

For me, the first Doom Hunter that you meet, although they do become a common enemy later in the game, it really puts you up for a test if you are actually ready to continue playing the game if you can beat the first Doom Hunter, and then the next 2 in the 2nd arena

ok so when he is about to attack and his eyes flash green shoot him with the ballista then use the sentinel hammer then use the turret mod on the chaingun to get hella damage

if he is about to attack and his eyes dont flash green don't shoot and just dash away

if you need sentinel hammer energy use 2 regular heavy cannon shots to stagger the zombies and fill up the hammer meter

or just kill the dogs that he spawns sometimes

when you see that he's about to dash at you with his shield wait about half a second then dash to the left or right whichever one has more space

the dark lord really is just a bigger marauder

does take some practice to get it all down but usually you get that practice within the fight

because its so long
