Most of what you said are things I already do or at least aware of. I mostly use arbalest for the Pain Elementals, I'm also aware that the LoB is incredibly powerful but I am using remote det for occasional falters. The chaingun shield is something I came across quite recently actually, I never really used the chaingun the first playthrough I had of the game.

With the meathook, I use it the most and try to master it ASAP because of the added armor you get essentially for free every what? 5 seconds or so or whatever the cooldown of the hook is, it's essentially a smaller, faster flame belch.
I also used the unmaykr like... Once. Otherwise I've only used the BFG because I just found it infinitely more useful during stressfull times, it did save me a handful of times.

So essentially the I guess two things I need to look more into is spreading out my ammo usage and also somewhat learn where enemies spawn and how to deal with them more effectively.

Bringing back power ups is kinda weird imo anyway. They feel haphazardly placed and don’t add much to the gameplay. Maybe in smaller arenas that get flooded with demons (like the Berserk in ARC Complex) otherwise I don’t see a reason for power ups to return at all

I mean I like the fast powerup that just increases your speed, that doesn't really feel overpowered to me or boring, it's just a thing. Id be fine with that one returning for some fights. I think the 1 berserk powerup in eternal was executed well, but I don't really think that type of gameplay is very necessary and I don't really think it has to be in any future titles

powerups makes the game lame. Haste makes swaps hard, berserk is just the same animation for every demon without worrying about much about stacks or positioning...

UN could be like this: 275% damage (normal nightmare has 200%), make enemies way more accurate, shield only blocks frontal damage and has a 100% longer CD, LOB deals 50% less damage, just remove dblade because why not, make meathook have a 1,5 second longer CD, remove AC, make demons not drop any more HP when low on HP, make flame belch drop 50% less armor, make brink of death not as good, make dash 30% shorter and give enemies 10% more health and speed just to fuck with the player

If you're talking about the one I think you are, you should be at the top and make sure you can see the gate you have to break before you jump. Use precision bolt scope if it helps. Then just time your dash at the right moment to break the gate. You can use your first dash a little early to slow yourself down if you like

Rhe first doom hunter has 18 000 HP, when there are 2 at the same time they have 12 000 each and normal doom hunters has 7500 HP

This is counting both phases, but the sled phase always makes up for 2/3 of the HP

The maligog boss fight is over really quick and the seraphim is a glorified arena

Eternal's SSG reminds me a lot of DOOM 3's Shotgun in which the damage is theoretically extremely ridiculous, but the spread is abhorrent beyond belief so you'll get so much varied and inconsistent damage moments.

DOOM 3's Shotgun can actually 2 shot Archviles but it's very unreliable. Lol.

Was just wondering if there would be any other way to explain this, since I don’t think Hell is ever referred to in the codex as having realms within it, just being a singular realm.

i think it's cool when people find alternative counterplay to boss moves but trying to roll that one in particular is so inconsistent that you have to break its tracking
