Brief timeline:

• Hayden goes back to Earth to figure out Argentshit.
• Deag Ranak builds a small force of Cultist demons using resources on Earth, then takes control of many UAC resources.

• Ranak exploits humanity's distraction with figuring out Argent-Synthesis and uses this to successfully gain somewhat of a foothold in Europe, where they successfully build a Super Gore Nest, which Hell names Thaxor.

Hayden's development of Argent-Synthesis is the only reason ARC was able to get the resources to hold them off for so long. They had no answer for the energy crisis prior to this as the Slayer had destroyed the Argent Tower.

They simply wouldn't have had the energy to power any real weapons to help them.

Humanity could’ve gone full MAD and deprived the demons of earth. Taking everyone down with them is the closest they’d get to a win really.

Yeah, and TBF there are several colonies outside of Earth. Humanity itself isn't in danger of going extinct until the Icon is set loose. It's the danger of being submitted into subjugation, like the Argenta were.

To specify, yes, you can kill a Titan without a Crucible. It is just very hard and not usually worth the effort if you have one.

Hayden says you can only kill a Titan with a Crucible but he is literally saying wrong shit. Crucibles do not kill Titans, they hold them in stasis. They're a shortcut.

Meanwhile Doomguy has killed two Titans without a Crucible - the Icon in Doom II, and the Great One in the Slayer's Testaments.

But yeah the Icon is the smallest Titan we have seen. Its threat is not in its size.

I feel like I could force myself to become a much better player by giving myself ridiculous handicaps like blowing through levels on 2-3x damage, I did a playthrough of super gore nest where i took 2x damage and enemies had twice health and I made it only up to the outside section with the archvile and even then I just fucked up the encounter triggers and was too far away when he spawned

and I am also confident in the fact that I could most likely achieve unreclaimed earth UN without much hassle if I didn’t restrict myself any

i just tested with the console command "mainMenu_unlockAllMasterLevels 1" and it appeared to have not done anything, i think its current patch usage has been relegated to actually unlocking them in terms of that you dont have to play through the campaign to access them
