Master levels are sometimes unplayable on Xbox, it sucks that there is no continue feature after getting a checkpoint because it crashes and forces me to restart the level

I was probably 3/4 or the way through the taras nebad master level on classic mode when it crashed and I really can’t be bothered to attempt to complete them when it keeps resetting

Maybe it’s my console lol but super gore-nest master level didn’t crash when that was released and that was about 3 years ago now i think

I don’t have to worry about it crashing on ultranightmare tho because I’m not good enough to beat that difficulty anymore 😭

Hi, I have already finished eternal twice. Once on difficulty 3/4 and once on difficulty 4/4. I now want to go to the next level with the quick switch and I started a game again while trying. I roll over demons more easily and levels are completed much faster. But my game is clearly not perfect and I don't master the quick switch correctly, for example I switch with a weapon but in the confusion I still switch without shooting or I hesitate or I use the wrong key. Do you have any professional advice for me?

It takes a couple days to adjust, but once you're not dependent on sugar, your body makes up for the energy. I still eat a couple pieces of fruit for natural sugars. And I keep my calorie intake in a deficit too. I don't eat until around 2pm. And then i eat again around 8pm.

getting good at the game doesn’t automatically make more tedious enemies funner just because there’s quicker ways of disposing of them

marauders aren't very threatening so dealing with them really just boils down to waiting

they effectively kill themselves

the axe projectile does no damage, has 3 years of startup, and travels slowly

the dog really shouldn't get to do anything if you aren't asleep at the wheel, same goes for the shotgun

there's no intentional unpredictability built into their moveset so dealing with them outside of one cycling feels painfully unrewarding

possessed enemies are infinitely better imo

You can’t shoot at them with aoe damage if you don’t wanna play red light greenlight, you can falter them with free hits, and enemy fire causes the dog to spawn. If you microwave the dog, you get a free hit from the falter

Not too bad. First and last combat arenas are the only encounters to be concerned about, aside from the Escalation Encounter if you decide to do it. The area with a couple Spectre Whiplashes can be dangerous too if you’re not prepared.

Just like every other level, learn the important spawns of the combat encounters and you’ll be fine.

it’s ammo efficiency is pathetic and the DPS is only good when accounted for in a vacuum, almost everybody I’ve seen defending it is having to do the equivalent of doing mental gymnastics, unmaykr from full to empty is 36000 damage, super shotgun with fully upgraded ammo from full to empty is 19200 damage

its really only super gore nest with an overlapping level design

Yeah pretty much all the UAC maps in 2016 are like that with the exception of VEGA Central Processing.

The Hell based missions are probably just as linear as Eternal on the other hand.

Though for me it'll often either straight up not work, target the wrong enemy, like a random imp or fodder, or even lock on through walls or cover

It's especially wonky when trying to use it on Archviles or Tyrants

Especially with SLOB tech

Sometimes it also delays itself so it'll do the "two targets at once" perk which takes forever to happen

if you wanna cheat without it being immediately obvious, your options aren't going to be anything too powerful

you could stop enemy damage from taking other enemies out of stagger

but if you’re playing on Pc, any valid speedrun requires DESRU, which detects cheats and literally tells whether you have them enabled or not in the top right corner of the screen

the thing with cheating in speedrunning is you have to understand exactly how a legitimate speedrun works for it to be beneficial
