game specifically added weakness towards remote det for pinkies, but personally they do not serve very much purpose in my experience, they deal 600 damage at maximum because they are raw splash damage, and a soft falter doesn’t mean much in doom eternal when dealing enough damage to an enemy within a short enough window also activates a soft falter

I do have these opinions and I do dislike remote detonation, but I need to remind myself to remain civil with my opinions as well

Dashing into them with the energy shield equipped will bypass their armor and deal good frontal damage, due to the increments it deals it’s damage in, you’re bound to get a glory kill after a few bashes
