I haven't made it yet but I'm working on it, I have two save files, one on regular nightmare, the other one my UN. Play through a mission on nightmare, when you die reset the mission, try again and again until you don't die, then go on with UN. No idea if that strat works out in the long run though I feel like I'm improving

It's not some weird code, it's a bug. The Maykr Drones for some reason cannot be melee lunged.

You know how on most enemies, where if you stand just close enough and press the melee key, you'd get launched to them and connect the punch? That's called melee lunging and it's broken on Maykr Drones.

Their armor can be taken out by other means, it's just that Blood Punches insta-kill them. However they take a whopping full SLOB volley to be killed consistently from range which is just insane.

Like if you get hit two or three times on the Unbalanced version, sure it's no big deal, but then on the Balanced version, you'd just die because of the Totem buff

Hey so I have an update on quick switching

Funny enough the Marauder makes for a good practice target for quick switching

I go for the combo of Super Shotgun to stagger and then to deal more damage I switch to the Ballistq

Sometimes I use the rocket launcher but sometimes I take my own splash damage

Cuz I mean, Marauders used to be buddies with the Slayer before they not only turned on the Knight Sentinels but also became infused with demonic energy like the Deag priests

Also I had a thought about an alternate outcome to when Davoth is defeated.

The demons don't die, but they lose all will to be evil.

Do you think coexistence with these now liberated "demons" who lack evil intent could've been possible? Or would the Slayer still have killed every one of them?

I could see pretty much every demon having a purpose, especially on Earth.

Imagine having Hell Knights aid in heavy lifting on a construction site, or Cacodemons hauling materials as they float across the sky

Or maybe some people could end up domesticating some of the demons like Gargoyles or Pinkies

I dunno, for all the strengths and capabilities the demons have, and I know they're the bad guys, but I also like to look at this different perspective since I'm able to look at them and think "yeah, if they lacked the will to be evil and kill, they could do some good things for the good of humanity."

I mean imagine having these guys as part of Earth's military. There's plenty of weaponized demons that can be sent onto the front line.

Plus the demons themselves would have their own rankings. Like you'd have a Tyrant give them commands and lay out strategies (as long as there's a translator)

You might have done something like that

I never clicked with the Master Levels really. They just feel way too long, and I'm not really a big fan of the gimmicks they display. The frame rate also drops a fuck ton too lol.

The game's already really buggy, and it shows a lot more on the Master Levels.

Doesn't help that they're mostly pretty easy too except like Taras Nabad and World Spear, which the easiness makes the absurd length even more tedious.

Off-topic but is gaming desktop better than gaming laptop?

the desktop counterparts will always be more powerful than their laptop counterparts, and have more vram oftentimes to boot, the laptops only work at a fraction of their power off the charger and die in like 30 minutes off the charger even if they’re just on google or something, you’d need to be a very mobile person to require such a thing, it’s kind of a weird middle ground, it doesn’t have the raw power advantage of desktops, and it also doesn’t have the long battery life of normal laptops, I used one for about a year and some change and personally it wasn’t horrible but it’s probably not your BEST option

Your gaming laptop will eventually break to the point where it can't be fixed anymore, but whenever something on a desktop breaks it usually involves just replacing one part and done.

A laptop's hardware also generally can't really be upgraded, making it so that if you want to do so, you essentially have to buy a whole new one. Meanwhile again, desktop just involves you to buy the necessary part and done.

I've played with a gaming laptop for around 6 years or so, and trust me that the issues will build up over time to the point where it took me a whole 5-10 mins just to boot it up.
