Aren't platinum trophies supposed to be a grind? It's like achieving everything there is to achieve, climbing the highest mountain. The trophy is never supposed to be easy to get, at least in my opinion. That trophy is probably the biggest "grind" there is on the trophy list, I'd probably think of it as one last push to get to that mountaintop. Just trying to give you a different way to look at it, not trying to be an asshole

I think you're right to an extent, but I also think it depends on what the grind is. I won't disagree that mega grinds like the "prestigious achievement" (or something, I don't remember what it's called) trophy on black ops 4 which I didn't have until I had 2,100 hours on the game are bad. But simple grinds that just prove a tad bit of commitment and dedication (like eternals) are fine imo.

his last two phases have the same health as his first phase, a big tip I can say is try to ignore the summoned demons if you have a hammer, when you hit the dark lord with it they’ll get caught in the crossfire, this is especially useful on the dog summon where you don’t have to wait for him to do it again, or manually go out of your way to get more charges

I just said NOPE and cleaved him in half with the crucible

Have fun with the last two. They're some of the most fun missions imo but they're also quite difficult, so enjoy!

I would consider memorizing encounters to be one of the most important things when attempting UN for example. You need some basic strategy so you won't be caught off guard by a random Baron or Mancubus.

Well, not accounting for subjective stress, if you wanna be as technical as pobble, you're more likely to lose an extra life on NM than you are to die on UN. This is thanks to the extra lives being replaced with armor fillups when playing on UN, which makes it VERY SLIGHTLY easier

Eternal is like 2016 but they made just about everything better. The movement, the weapons, the level design, there is so much that eternal improved on from 2016. As for the reason that 2016 has a higher rating I assume it's due to a multitude of factors, like ratentaisou pointed out that it was review bombed, you have to take into account that gamers aren't really good at reviewing things. Lastly doom 2016 is easier than eternal, so most of the very casual audience probably had a better time with it.

Okay, but seriously: The easiest way to take down Dread Knight (Without BFG and Unmaykr) is just one Lock-On with Rocket Launcher. It puts them in glory kill state. Lock-On overall is kinda broken.

Some demons are surprisingly enough easier to kill than people think. Archviles, Dread and Hell Knights are easily killed with lock-on. Doom Hunter's sled with Blood Punch. Pain Elementals with Arbalest.
Heck, even possessed demons can be easily killed by Lock-On (With some exceptions)

but TAG 2 does have them for each of its level in the form of the Gold Skins for the weapons other than the Combat Shotgun and Super Shotgun

Just beat it normally. There's checkpoints if you aren't playing on UN or Extra Life Mode so you can try as many times as you want until you beat it

Now I'm playing it on my PC with all of the settings set to max, motion blur, vsync and everything else off and my game just looks blurry as hell? one thing I love about TAG2 is the stun duration increase youre given in an escalation encounter ( either reclaimed earth or immora ) doesn’t matter on the dark lord and it’s the same duration wether the hammer is upgraded or not, so you can skip the upgrades in a speedrun and still manage to do massive damage on the dark lord

Like it's pretty fair to not "split" the code to account for people doing something unintented

funnily enough this damage cap didn’t exist until 6.0, TAG2 release patch was 5.0, doesn’t mean you could go nuts on him however, he would just break out of falter instead, but if you can manage to do the damage all at once he doesn’t cap, also you can bypass this cap to varying degrees of success, mostly in phase 2&3 where you can one cycle him by tricking the game into reading it as a separate falter somehow, called “combo interruption”
