Make a copy of the Doom Eternal profile on your local machine:

go to System Drive -> Users -> <your OS profile-name> -> Saved Games -> id Software

Copy the DOOMEternal folder and paste it somewhere safe. This folder contains your local video configuration and save games

Delete the original DOOMEternal folder.

Run the game.

You might need to login again with your Bethesda Account

Quit the game if you are able to arrive at the main menu

Now go to the same folder (id software) where DOOMEternal folder you deleted, you will see a new folder of same name created. Just delete it again and now copy back the original copy you made.

Make sure you follow Steps 1 to 2 again and then run the game.

Global crit states...well, let me just copy-paste one of my many informational posts on this:

Instead of each projectile performing it's own calculations to determine if it's a critical hit, the game uses a global crit state system.

No, I'm not joking, there's a global toggle for whether or not ALL of your projectiles deal critical damage. Things like firing a weapon or shooting a grenade toggle the crit. state off. Other actions, like hitting an enemy in the head/weakpoint with a sticky bomb, toggle crit states on.

You can exploit this to make any sticky bomb deal critical damage by toggling the global crit state on before it explodes. And if you don't understand how this system works, you will find yourself frequently disabling sticky crits before your bombs explode (the color the bomb flashes is not a reliable indicator).

Things that force global crit states on include:

• Flame belching an enemy - by far the simplest and most effective way of turning on the global crit state.
• Headshotting an enemy with weapons like Precision Bolt
• Dashing into an enemy (I wish I was joking)
• Blood Punch (If I remember right)

I thought that too, because I noticed that when a demon is in a traversing animation and you shoot off a critical zone (usually this happens with Revenants and Mancubi), said part doesn't explode until the animation is done, which per se is weird but not BAD. It's silly. But this thing about demons not getting frozen I remember being annoying cuz it happened in the big arena after you get the crucible handle on Taras Nabad and I remember the demon shooting at me

The progression in difficulty is Cultist Base/Arc Complex -> Super Gore Next -> Mars Core -> The World Spear -> Taras Nabad

world spear is easier than Taras because Taras has some difficulty spikes, but world spear has a more consistent difficulty, also the fact that it’s already a long level in normal TAG2, factor that in with it being a master level, and featuring usage of backtracking, it’s just long

your movement in coin room has to be pretty on point since it's packed with enemies that already have strong melee tracking + high damage without the buff totem and on top of that the space is relatively small

alright yea, my advice on this gameplay.
It seems you actually do a decent job at not taking damage until right around 3:49.
Because if we were to equate this to the equivalent of nightmare damage any time you go 27 armor or less in HMP is the equivalent of dying in nightmare.
It seems like some of your performance issues were a result of panic and also indecisiveness on what to do next.
pb rocket is a decent combo but if you want it to be faster, time the rocket to be immediately after the precision bolt so you can activate fast swap effect ( only if you have hot swapper unlocked ), as well as the fact the heavy cannon is best without fully scoping, not only is it slow, but it gives you tunnel vision and reduces your speed for the entire time you have it scoped.
you should probably work on increasing your situational awareness, there seems to be an under usage of mods, and maybe even using your weapons in an obsolete fashion.
The two notable times I saw you use lock on were on a staggered hell knight, and a singular carcass, it’s better on tankier enemies.
also an issue I’ve noticed while watching the gameplay is you almost never do point blank super shotguns, which isn’t good because the damage fall off is a lot. There was a point in the level where you hit a prowler with the SSG and it only staggered it, which means at worst it did 750DMG, and at best it did 999DMG, that means your ssg on average is only dealing about 47-62% of its full damage

It seems that the "Argentas Paladi" achievement seems to be not counting the progress of the other achievements. I currently sit at 50/80, even though I have completed all of the campaign and almost all of the battle-mode ones (13/21).

I've just searched, apparently it's bugged, the game doesn't register all of the default milestones you've done. It stops at 76/80 even when you've gotten all the other milestones, it's a bug which exists for as long as the game does

I tried out horde mode, its pretty fun but I was trying to get the no bfg bonus but accidentally fired it at some point (and the only thing it killed was a horribly unfortunate gargoyle)
