Least annoying demon is probably the tyrant tbh, most heavies have certain gimmicks that just make them a pain in the ass, but the tyrant quite literally barely moves at all, only downside is he has a big health pool

Which is quite literally enough to one shot an unupgraded slayer if one shot prevention wasn’t a thing, and considering they appear in the first level, and one shot prevention requires 25+ armor and there’s no flame belch in the first level, it’s pretty much just instakill on hell on earth

Fr tho the tactic I use is double homing rocket barrage, Arbelest, 1/2 destroyer blade and Chaingun shield to finish it off

If you know where a tyrant is going to spawn it’s good to charge a dblade in preparation, deals the most damage in a single burst, 2400, a single volley of lock on deals 2700 damage but tyrants and barons have a 33.3% resistance so dblade Is a better starter

I’d advise against if you’re talking possessed tyrants, a BFG direct hit deals 4000 damage, possessed tyrants are equivalent to 20000+ HP

Even if you somehow got maximum tendril distance plus direct hit even two full BFGs might not do it

Nightmare might be something for a future run if you finished the game. 4 missions in now and most of the game goes well enough but some sections can be punishing enough already on UV.

Def took me a while to figure out the right button layout. You got more buttons then in Doom.

The nerfs are super exaggerated, if they were detrimental as people claimed, speedruns would be done on 5.0-5.1 instead of 3.0-3.1

Also probably really impractical but it’s possible to one shot a marauder with bloodpunch that way cuz you can just open with pretty much any weapon then super punch him

Marauder only has 5000 health, desperate punch ( 3000 damage ) plus super punch ( doubles damage of bloodpunch ) is 6000 damage

i keep pressing f when i see a staggered enemy

anyways, game feels both too responsive and a lil unresponsive, but the unresponsive part is sort of how slow the guns shoot

i also have comically low ammo but i think both of those get upgraded

the too responsive part is my mouse sensitivity but it felt wrong to turn it down

Desperate punch dealt 3x damage instead of 2x, the slayer gates were shorter, a lot of encounters were shorter etcetera

Also the fact that in terms of how long It takes to beat it has a lot more skippable areas than TAG2 has

It's kinda like, they'll wait until you reach black belt and then they'll throw you a curve ball, so you have to learn to adapt and adopt a slightly different array of skills. Nothing major, just minutia.

It's like the meathook, I literally never use it, but the Khan Makyr battle forced me out of my comfort zone and made me play how id wanted me to play.
