Fuck Hayden's "good intentions" - even in that game's isolated story, he was a narcissistic, evil man who exploited people and subjected them to terrible, oppressive labor to fuel his ego even though there were likely other solutions to Earth's energy crisis. He was a villain in that game too.

And he keeps telling the Slayer what to do. It's all he ever does - tell people what to do. I think that alone would make the Slayer want to cave his metal robot face in.

Is there a way to beat doom eternal ultra nightmare on Nintendo switch? Because I know that you need to have good FPS and DOOM eternal on switch runs at 30 FPS

You definitely don't "need" good fps. A lot of people will tell you you would need to quick swap and bunny hop and shit, but just generally knowing what demons are in which arenas (not even memorizing spawns, just knowing 'i know 2 mancubi and a dread knight are coming up') and having a general plan is better.

You can pretty much get by with mostly relying on PB - ballista, PB - ssg, and lock on burst for a majority of the game if you know what you're doing. And you don't even need to be THAT fast with your swaps.

I play on switch often. It is fine. It has some crashes here and there, but it works very well for the most part. The portability aspect is really good though.

The graphics aren't that bad once you get playing. Eventually you get used to it. On the FPS side, if you are used to play at high frame rates, you will notice the difference for sure.

I mean I use my regular shotgun alot, close range takedown arachnatron's gun, close range takedown mancubus flamethrower etc etc with the sticky bomb

It's really good for taking down weak points at close range

It's a quite useful gun if you utilise it well

You can also use it for dealing with doom hunters, I easily bring them to their critical damage phase spamming sticky bombs

Much less risky and much faster than attempting to use the plasma rifle to take down their shield and damaging them

Try to bind your keys close enough to the movement keys such that you don’t have to lift your fingers all the way up. I personally use mostly default with 1-6, T for bfg, e as chaingun, c for flame and v for crucible. Grenade and grenade switch on mouse4 and 5. These are key bindings that Im comfortable with and you don’t have to copy from me.

For quick swaps you really have to get a feel for the rhythm on when to switch

Like 2-> rmb-> lmb -> 5 -> lmb

In TAG1 the stakes are fairly high and rushed as the demons are taking control of Urdak, which, if they succeed, would allow them unprecedented access to the universe via the Maykrs' teleportation rules. Doomguy ain't got the time for that.

It's also possible the Crucible can't keep the Icon dormant with only the blade. When the Slayer removes the hilt from the blade embedded in the Dreadnought, it briefly moves again before re-entering dormancy as the energy takes hold. I think this possibly would be a re-stabilization of the energy keeping the Titan dormant; but since the Icon is so much larger and more powerful, it's possible the energy wouldn't be able to re-stabilize.
