Missiles are pretty op with the extra damage upgrade for killing fodder or whatever it is, use that as a starter to Tyrants or to fight Barons sometimes

I love the strat of just aiming up and raining hellfire on him, he gets really distracted leaving him open to any attack

oh its all good! it was an ass clip lmao. at that time i was already doing un challenge runs. but i did even more after that. multiple times on each master level/dlc ultra nightmare no chaingun shield, ice bomb, bfg, lock on, crucible, etc. and just learning and using the advanced tech like slob, dblade tech, meathook movement, ssg pb combos, etc. and to this day i still do dlc and mainly master level ultra nightmare clears lmao im addicted

Never had aim assist on, ruins the flow and sometimes can fuck you over, without it I actually feel like I can aim more where I actually want to, which I cannot say for other games

Especially with target lock or whatever that other feature was, you could be going to finish a heavy and all of a sudden the game thinks you wanna target an Imp or prowler in the background

aim assist on console makes for the easiest headshots of your life against fodder and maykr drones. meathook into them to set them on fire, then quickly switch to precision bolt to headshot them and get free armor without wasting ssg shots on them 👍

Oh yeah for headsets it's pretty pathetic how easy it is, but the precision bolt had a slight aim assist built into it, so if you can aim competently with it headsets are guaranteed, also I heard from somewhere that the PBs projectile is actually perspective based, meaning if you are far from an enemy, the bigger the projectile will actually be as it copies the reticle size, you can really see it in photo mode

Yeah like the proteh mods, I know it may seem lazy to just have infinite demons but could of been at least a separate mode within horde, and I also dislike the choices of maps for the official horde mode.

i mainly use it for ssg into pb for free armor. the aim assist doesnt mess with anything else i ssg pb. barons, mancs, tyrants, arachnotrons, etc, all have big enough hitboxes to where it doesnt matter too much imo. and i didnt know that! ill check it out in photo mode @supple shadow

Yeah idk, I just don't use aim assist, and look before I say this, I am not saying that using aim assist makes you a bad player or have a lack of skill at all, but I just don't have it on because one I prefer my kills not to be influenced by an assisting ai and just personally because when I have used it it's messed me up a lot more times then helped, but if you use it good for you, just have to add a disclaimer because some people get triggered from my experiences

It's extremely small I'd barely call it aim assist in all honesty, but something is there, in which Hugo mentioned its why you can get some quote "cool shots" when otherwise it would most likely miss, then again I'm not stating it as pure fact, it's just obvious something is there.

I'm having issues with the game showing controller buttons and not letting me start playing. I've done some digging and the fix that seems to work is to disable steam input in the game's properties but no such option exists. Disabling the controller in-game doesn't work either. This depends largely on the controller and how much the player is willing to use additional features.

If your controller has 1) motion controls, and 2) back paddles to use for quick buttons for the SSG, Ballista, Rocket Launcher, and Heavy Cannon, then I think your ability to play the game efficiently will not be very different from a KB/M user.

Those are the main things that separate them - efficient aiming and efficient shortcuts to access the quickswitching weapons.

Not possible unfortunately, buffs can’t stack, buff totem overrides spirit buff, making a double stacked marauder actually easier to fight because it’ll have less hp

I kind of can agree, just think the level flows really well and is easily just a level I hop on when I'm bored or testing something in Eternal, where I understand it though is I think the second big arena could of been better, like when at the Quakecon gameplay reveal I liked the idea of pain elementals within that open space, luckily the master level returned that.

If you have air control, dodging is still hard, but not impossible. I kinda do it with a circle motion, but you gotta keep your eye on them all the time.

Yeah, dashing works too. All depends on the skill level of the player. Personally, I like to just shoot their canons off as fast as possible, especially in later levels when you have PB and Ballista.

The possesed Mancubi in the DLC are a pain though, because you can't shoot off weakpoints 🙂
