i believe how it works is the game checks if you're airborne after a dash, and if you are, the next one isn't quite charged
something like "stop at this decimal value"
but the dash charge rate isn't affected by fps, so at lower fps there's a gap between frames where that stop would otherwise happen, i.e. the game's logic runs too slow to stop the dash from fully charging
the dash charge gets to some value close to 100% on one frame, the stopping point is some value a bit closer to 100%, and on the next frame the charge value has jumped over the stopping point and to 100%

go to settings in doom and find Video click Video and find the category "Display" after that, there should be something called "Window mode" in the category, click the button and select borderless or windowed, after that you can Shift + tab and click off and Doom eternal will not hide from you no more
Or If your trying to switch to Google or something like that but still playing doom, Shift + tab then press the Windows Key, Doom should Hide from you and you can use your desktop, Dont worry, Doom hasnt exited
To return back to doom simply go to ur windows bar and just click on Doom Eternal (Slayer's Mark)

Once you get the super shotgun, everything gets more difficult, the more difficult it is the more fun it is. Plus you don't get the bfg, and the ballista. Those make the game 10 times more fun.

If I had to rank the weapons by their individual utility heavy cannon would definitely be on top, but here’s how I’d rank them in order, from best to worst.
- Heavy cannon, instantaneous way to activate FSE along with having a fast bring up and bring down time allowing for easy combos
- Ballista, great for transportation, dblade, even better, double dblade, and arbalest is just kinda there.
- Rocket launcher, good for splash damage and lock on is the highest dps thing in the game.
- Super shotgun, strongest base fire of any weapon in the game, dealing 1600 damage with a single shot, and flaming hook makes staying alive very easy
- Chaingun, rapid fire weapon, mobile turret does more than pb rocket in a vacuum at the cost of ammo being dogshit, and energy shield is free godmode, and instakill for enemies with bulldozer
- Combat shotgun, not really much going for it, sticky bombs are good for combos
- Plasma rifle, literally no good reason to use it past cultist base, charging up a full heat blast takes more ammo than a fully charged dblade and that’s AFTER upgrading it to charge more per shot, and microwave beam does little damage and locks you with low mobility
