aslong as you buy it as an extension and not as the standalone version it should go straight to your main game

personally i focus on the hands first as you can point blank ssg them from top right and top left platforms on phase 1. he telegraphs his main attacks like punch or beam, so just use the portals or dash away. there will always be a plethora of fodder on the bottom platform of phase 1 and the north side of the arena on phase 2. spam your crucible with no restraint, there's infinitely respawning crucible pick ups. id recommend also saving 3 pips of a chainsaw in cases where you need to chainsaw a heavy demon. be sure to use the bfg pick up they give you in both phases. there is a mega health on the top for each phase so use that as you will.

spam meathook, use your dashes as opposed to jumping, do not forget about ice grenades or frag grenades, always use flame belch, and try to use all your guns

Typically edge boosts can give a lot of height since they're technically a perfect 45 degree angle dash boost (more or less, nobody's really done the science on figuring out why edge boosts are "better"), so there's some stuff that's possible with them even with other stuff patched out.

If it's not down yet, finish it off with the microwave beam

now fire your weapon mod (precision bolt for example)
once it fires immediately press punch and then immediately after that press the key which you have binded to precision bolt
you skip the pb reload animation and you can fire it faster

Eternal design philosophy boils down to “because cool” however by tag 2 they realized they wrote themselves into a corner by having literal Satan be the antagonist, so they had to increase the scale of the universe and in doing so retconning current lore and also needlessly making it complicated

Also the weapons in OG doom were stronger, all of them, being able to one shot a pinky with one ssg shot in classic doom, the plasma rifle being able to melt anything, the bfg having like 30 fucking rounds, the rocket launcher also one shotting a pinky to the front ( in modern doom it takes 4 )

I wish instead of unmaykr they could’ve made it doomguys original plasma rifle, would’ve been a great throwback and interesting to where people might actually use it

just a paper thin plot to murder demons

there is no shortage of lore, but the quality is not good
like you know, the Friday the 13th movies, Jason goes from murdering people in Crystal Lake to murdering people in space. Doesn't make the plot any good no matter how much effort was put into it.
