Correct. You can only get 1 crystal and it can be any crystal. Same applies for the Praetor upgrade. Just one. For example, you can go for the dash which costs 4 tokens or quick swap which costs 2. Either as long as you only pick one during the entire thing.

Only barely since the spawn limit is 32 I believe, but the slayer counts as 1 so technically it's 31. Sometimes other resources in the level count (green dogs in dlc, etc), so that is ALSO a factor.

As far as logistically can you beat them... This is where it gets complicated. Since they're almost hitting the spawn limit, then whatever fodder needs to be in the arena is limited to basically only 1 spawn if that. And it CAN spawn, but I believe Marauder dogs also count for spawn limit. Let's assume they do, as if they don't it's easy.

If they do count, then you have to make sure you clear all dogs and not allow any Marauder to damage another Marauder so those marauders don't summon dogs, so that the fodder is able to spawn.

However as long as there is an available fodder to chainsaw (or hammer if dlc), then yes 30 marauders is kind of easy to deal with. The simplest way is you simply meathook jump and backpedal, and spam sticky Bombs at the ground. The marauders will run over the explosion and take damage. Once you're low on ammo, just get as far from the fodder, wait for the marauders, then meathook jump + ballista boost to the fodder to chainsaw.

You COULD also expedite the process by using pause boosts to just kill 1 Marauder at a time relatively quick, however that means you wouldnt have much ballista ammo to use for escaping so 🤷

There's a ton of ways to mitigate that, but the simplest would be:

• meathook jump then charge Dblade while in the air (enemies have terrible tracking in the air)
• bunny hop while charging (can maintain any speed while doing this, and yes you can do this on controller)
• just jump, double jump, then charge Dblade, you'll keep your momentum/normal movement speed and by the time you land the Dblade is fully charged
