Basically precision bolt, fire a rocket, and immediately after firing the rocket, lock on, for beginners it’s advised you spam left click during the process of the lock on because the timings a bit harsh

i think the only “bad” ones are the gibbo plastic heavy cannon, and plaid. all the other ones are pretty solid nothing thats like “ugly” in my opinion or bad. astros pretty decent, carbon fiber while boring is just slick black, gold is gold thats just up to personal taste, and hellforged and teal chrome are flashy and come with bragging rights

How big are the dlc stories compared to the main campaign? I just got into Doom Eternal and cleared the main story. Wondering how much I'd be getting with the two dlcs.

The first dlc is about 1/3rd the time of the main campaign and the second dlc is about 1/4th the time

So if you take 6 hours to beat the campaign it’d take you 2 hours to beat the first dlc

yeah I killed the other tyrant first with an ice bomb + destroyer blade + frag grenade setup and then probably some pb combos to finish him off. I was able to kill him really fast so didnt have to worry about him too. then on the possessed one, i used some combination of the things I suggested above, while meathooking around him, trying to stay in the air, and faltering him with microwave beam if i was on the ground & about to eat an attack. I tihnk I mostly just used locky rockies and unmaykr, and I'm sure I had to chainsaw for more rockets at least once.

I think BMaykrs ok. Though I've always disliked the design that their attacks did a lot of damage AND "stunned" you. Always felt a little too over designed.

Similar to Cursed Prowlers. I think the Invincible except when attacking was fine, the attacks themselves were fine, the slow when hit is fine, but combining all that + the general damage they dealt, was just a lot.

Depends on your definition of best.

Simplest to understand is to use SSG when they turn green, swap to Ballista - swap back to SSG, rinse and repeat.

Safest would be, if you sticky bomb the ground in front of them you actually can damage them with the splash damage, so back pedaling ESPECIALLY with meathook jumps + using sticky Bombs can be extremely safe even against 5+ Marauders at once.

Fastest strat is SLOBS (PB - rocket + grenade + lock on, more or less)

Eternal has the most dynamic Icon of Sin fight out of all its appearances

cause end of episode 1 in Doom is just 2 barons of hell and a room full of spectres

end of episode 2 is the cyberdemon who shoots rockets at you, although if you have the plasma gun you can just circle strafe shoot him till he dies

and end of episode 3 has the spider mastermind who straight up dies in 3 direct hits from the bfg making it the fastest bossfight as you can end it in like 5 seconds

yeah, bossfights in these games has never really been their strongsuit

they exist mainly because they have to, something to build up to

2016 and Eternal have the best bossfights in the series

binding it to scroll wheel makes it so that it rapidly inputs the jump action

so you're assured that you jump as soon as you touch the ground

however it is not impossible to bhop with spacebar
it's just harder and less reliable
