ahh, barons are fairly simple once you learn to falter them properly in my opinion. or ssg pb, or ssg ballista is even easier. are you comfortable with quickswapping? because if you are, pb ballista is great against samur. but a general rule people follow is to keep one of those electric eye things alive, since killing both spawns in two again. so one is better than two 👍 there are many many more advanced tips but for the sake of simplicity and accessibility i hope these help

pb ballista is pretty good with samur to most people. and there is a pretty good method involving the bfg to take out the spirits very quickly. its shooting the bfg right before the cutscene plays of samur summoning the possessed pain and dreadknight. during the cutscene youll have time to mwbeam one spirit making the fight much easier

Best rune is air control. it should be your first pick. From there, I suggest Equipment fiend and then Dazed and confused. On the crystals, I suggest Magnet first, and then flame B one that decreases the time. Those two are the best crystal upgrades in that order

The plasma rifle is easily the worst weapon in the game and I don’t know why the choice of crippling it in brawler mode was made

I love how brawler mode doesn’t actually balance the game and is just mayos idea of making doom “better” because he uses inefficient mods on purpose for “style” but he could also learn how to play the game better and he’ll have no need to use remote det and full auto

things that i think would make the next doom nearly perfect:
glory kills that interact with the environment like in 2016. or maybe glory kills that interact with each other for example throwing a staggered imp at another staggered enemy or something, maybe add like a sick laser or something to the shoulder launcher on top of the flame belch and other stuff, more reasons to glory kill because once you fully understand the game glory kills kind of become obsolete i still do them for fun though.

However if you’re running ultra nightmare there’s no definitive easiest mission, just gotta get lucky/near a big group of enemies

Okay I ran a little test and they are not hitscan however they do have the property of continuous bullets, basically meaning they have no spread at all, they are about 20% slower per about the distance of about four arachnotrons as a measuring tool
