Remote Det is very bad in Eternal. It can falter targets ok, but the actual damage itself is less than a normal rocket launcher shot. And enemies already stagger from damage anyways

One heat blast takes like 50+ ammo to fully charge and even then does less damage than a singular ballista shot, which only costs 25 ammo, the only difference is heat blast stuns and breaks weak points, but maybe it’d be better if you weren’t basically a sitting duck while charging it up, considering the plasma rifle base fire ( which you need to use to charge heat blast ) is actually somewhat weaker than heavy cannons base fire

I get it’s an early game weapon and can’t be too powerful, but look at how balanced combat shotgun and heavy cannon are, versatile even in the absolute endgame. it’s not really an excuse

I think they knew the monster they created with 2016’s stun bomb and just overcompensated by making the plasma rifle ridiculously weak

Theres too many imps and prowlers and i cant kill them couse i spend modt of my ammo trying to kill the whiplashes and baron of hell in the first part

Just keep fodder demons alive while fighting. They only require one chainsaw charge, so whenever you need ammo, just get to one of them pinatas and chainsaw your way to happiness

Experienced this bizarre glitch where my game crashed right after I died on my UN file and when I booted the game back up the next day my UN file was there. I thought the game bugged and had given me a second chance, but when I loaded in I was stuck running around the doom hunter boss arena with no double jump, no dash, no weapons, no anything until I died

the first few levels in this game are actually harder than the later ones imo

your ammo, armor and health counts are lower, you don't have some of the crucial elements like the ice bomb, dashing and super shotgun meat hook until the later parts of those levels, you don't have enough runes etc

that one building top part of Hell On Earth was probably the hardest part of the level

and also, when I tried to glory kill an Arachnotron, I somehow punched it instead of glory killing it

For UN, On that arena with the 5-6 cyber manc, go to one of the sides (where the bridge is) and fire a BFG across the arena. It will basically clear it. On donut arena with the tyrants and doom hunter, just use crucible on the tyrants. On the arena with the green acid river (doom hunter and 2 cacos), fire a BFG towards the direction of the river when the cyber mancs spawn. Clears the arena. Crucible for all Archies you see (besides the tyrants said above)

For the marauders in toxic river, if you aren't great at quick switching, use Arbalest and SSG to kill them. Take your time. Hit one at the time. Move to the area where the door is (no toxiz water) to hit, then run to the other side and repeat.

Do what I told you. Go to the door and charge an Arbalest shot, fire one at the time and do Arbalest SSG quick switch. Move to the other side. Take your time

Well, you want to make sure that you have full gear going into master levels if this is your first time beating them

It's greyed out in the Master Level because you haven't unlocked it on that save file in the Main Campaign

You need to go into your save file's Campaign and/or Mission Select and go find a Weapon Mod Bot to then get Heat Blast for Plasma Rifle.

There are several Mod Bots in the fortress of doom, and there's 1 or 2 in certain levels going all the way up to Arc Complex I believe.
