There's not a single station where you want to use full auto. To your scenarios, Stimps, hammer, dblade, chainsaw. For bmaykrs, PB and ballista. Pinkies, BP. Unless it is for fun of course. Full auto is just bad.

FA is still not good there, a single BP takes away 4/5 of the sled's health without ice bomb + falters for long enough that getting in the remaining 1k damage is free, and with ice bomb it oneshots the sled (unless id spaghetti gets in the way)

the rocket launcher on the SGN master level is buggy, if you use lock-on and shoot rockets occasionally firing one rocket will share the properties of a lock on rocket
basically, it will home in on enemies and do no splash damage
the reason this is a problem is I often need to kill a large group of fodder while my grenades are restocking, so I keep dying when I can't get the splash

When done properly it’s so fast that the ssg is on the screen for less time than the punch animation, and is really only there for like a fraction of a second

Punch swapping is not gamebreaking but it definitely gives you a lot more variety in your combos

So to skip Dash in Restricted, normally players pick it up, exit to menu, continue game, and they can dash to pick up the sentinel battery which on a first playthrough of Exultia, triggers the portal (funnily enough, on mission select the rotunda fight completion is what triggers the portal, because the battery no longer exists)

There's a few ways you can skip dash. I was originally trying to do "100% Combat but 0% pickups", and to do that you have to do a punch boost off of a zombie and go towards the armor pickup to the right of the Dash pickup. This lets you just walk through the dash room and continue as normal.
To then get to the portal, you just need either good bunny hops, or a punch boost off of something else
The big hurdle for a LONG time was the arena with a big titan that you'd put a sentinel battery into and it shot a hole into a wall (inside was a sentinel crystal). You could skip that area with Air Control OR Dash, but you couldn't skip both. Luckily someone found Dour Slough skip, but THAT required chainsaw, so there was a long period where I had to figure out what to do
But luckily there's zombies you can punch boost off of, though it's really hard without Air Control. But still "possible"

oh also I was doing this as "0%" which is a category in Doom 2016, where in addition to all of that, you have to get 0 progress on ANY of the level challenges
so no BFG in Mars Core, no Turret breaks in Cultist (annoying as fuck in the Revenant section), no Revenant Turret breaks in Arc Complex, no overloaded shields in Arc Complex
admittedly that was less interesting and more pain
Anyways, back to the main topic, skipping Dash. You'd think skipping dash is like a deal breaker, but surprisingly Meathook, Ballista, and just general movement/bunny hopping can carry you through most/all of the game

You actually get access to another one at the start of Doom Hunter Base (Any% uses this)
Anyways, so Taras Nabad, right? Has all those water sections that require you to swim and dash into walls, right? Well luckily, Ballista can be used to skip all of those with noclip shots.
HOWEVER...
There's one more fucking water section that requires dash.
Urdak.
I was on stream routing low% without dashes, got to the fucking END of Urdak, and only THEN did I realize that the game softlocks if you don't have dash

IMO you should never put away your thumbs from the sticks, only if you are doing an animation: Glory Kill or Chainsaw, my whole gameplay went a step higher when I switched dash to L3 and jump to R3
I can now "easily" jump, dash, aim, shoot and move while in the air, add some weaon binds to that and it made me waaaaay better
In Campaign might be hard putting some binds because you kinda need switching grenades and/or Hammer/Crucible, that allows you putting 3 weapons on buttons
on Battlemode you can put 5

Any precision weapon makes sense with it, and Dblade as a balancing mechanic since Dblade is that good.
Mobile Turret... Is one of the best "full Auto weapons" so I guess it made... Sense...? I dunno, I do agree it's a stupid restriction.

But I do usually say it's the best "non quick swap option", maybe second to Micro Missiles when you use Primary Charger
You can farm fodder to get the mastery if there's enough in an arena. I forget what the best place for that might be
There's definitely faster ways to beat most bosses than using MT.

You can freeze one of the Archviles at the start, frag the other so he won't summon, and 2 lock on a kills the frozen one. From there the next Archy is just a single Archy.
Blood Mayor's are Blood Mayor's, of you struggle with them (although you said you don't do whatever) just use Chrono strike.
For the Possessed Marauder, take out the Carcass(es?) first, as they no longer infinitely respawn like they used to.
From there, you can either sticky bomb spam and keep your distance, or you can do the Mobile Turret one cycle since it's pretty much "free"

Dazed/Confused is probably.one of the best ones. Savagery is typically not helpful though, as the reduced gk time just means less iframes. And enemies are coded to not surround you while your glory killing

Instead of using the default Q binding to switch or swap (hot key I set on my mouse) does anyone have any tips on the best way to select weapons right instantly without using the Q button?

What I usually do is use the super shot gun and Arablast. Switch out to do massive damage with grenades and ice bombs.
