Cause I didn’t have the Ballista, all I could do is Rocket + SSG

And to maximize damage that risked damaging and killing myself at the time

I don’t remember if I had the SSG fully upgraded at the time to get the armor meathook. However I use Ballista + Rocket Launcher a lot (its my go to quickswap combo).

Yeah, it doesn't have gyro from what I can see. However, there's a bug on the controller that disconnects often. The fix seems to be to disable rumble which doesn't bother me. You can update the controller via Xbox PC but then I think it disables the back paddles

So I've recently bought Doom 2016 but I'm finding myself a bit bored tbf there are things that I don't like about the doom 2016 gameplay

Eternal does improve on 2016 in a lot of ways. What aspects do you dislike

I find combat a bit stale in 2016, I've played through it before but stopped around the midway point and now playing through it again I kinda feel like it's a bit of a chore at times.
I also don't really like the go into room > kill > go into next room type of gameplay I suppose

I suppose eternal is like that too, but the combat in general is a lot more fast paced and fun compared to 2016 which made me want to keep playing

i'll try to break that down: alt+tab is a application switch this can cause a switch of default audio device depending on the next app settings. I'd suggest to define a fixed default device in the doom settings if that is is possible. Not sure if the ui has an option for that

Fight a marauder, TAG 2, fight 2 marauders, a buffed marauder, SGN : Fight a marauder with your vision impaired, now fight 2 in toxic slime, Taras Nabad, fight one with minimal room to move, Fight 2 while being surpressed by heavies, Fight 2 in the fog, Mars Core: Fight 2 with heavies spawning, World Spear: fight one while superheavies are present.

It's not just with marauders. The way they use archviles is way better than how they are used in base game. They just plop them right in front of you with minimal to no cover, and you can ez kill them with ice bomb and rockets.

Ok fine, you’re right about that one. It’s not too excessive with length or amount of demons. The only issue I have is the Meathook consistently is less receptive to demons that are on fire, so Archies make movement more difficult.
