It's super good if you know how to dodge and have aircontrol, because you can literally spend all your cells to say, kill an archie, by just keeping the beam on them. And then chainsaw to get all your cells back.

the main objective difference between the two is that tag2 reworked adds more meathook nodes

tag2 rw also includes bug fixes and some minor visual changes but that's about it

i don't remember much about the actual enemy placements, but reworked is arguably better just because of all the extra nodes

When modding should I use the mod manager, just the injector or neither?

The mod manager just displays all enabled mods and disabled mods in a simple ui, there's no caveat to either manually removing/putting mods and then running mod injector or using the mod manager to move around mod files and run the mod injector from there.

It also shows the vanilla dark lord fight as reworked but not the rest of TAG2 (downloaded a separate mod for that also)

The horde hammer mod works fine though

UN: skip all slayer gates. Don't need them. Put first 9 Weapon points on SSG, 6 on Rocket Launcher Lock on burst. Then maximize lock on at Doom hunter base. From there, save the rest of the points for shield mod and then everything else after that.

On nightmare, make sure you learn quick swapping as it becomes super important to delete demons quick. Also, learn to stay away from close combat if ypu don't have armor. You take a lot more damage in Nightmare and ypu need to be aware of your life at all times

100% isn't worth it. It is too much luck based imo

Exactly, complete UN and move on. No need to get 100%. Many people have done it, and I can tell you from own experience, it is not worth it. It's not about skill, but it involves luck.
